I didn't stay to enjoy the celebrations long, but it was still a fun time watching the fireworks and seeing the villagers of the island happy - including Gwen who had only moved here yesterday.

Love the fact there's nothing special going on but there's still different music playing  last night was fun, I always love the countdown and shouting haply new year to my best friends online list

Just took down all 41 Christmas decorations I'd dotted around Chaos. I'm bound to have missed something, I always do! Now there's a green circle in my garden and I'm wondering what to put there!

Managed to shift my turnips via Turnip Exchange online. Got a great price but unsure it was worth the hassle :slol: Joined the back of a thirty person queue which grew to fifty, and had to wait several hours for the Dodo Code, only to then be greeted by frequent connection issues. Got there in the end so am set for bells for the foreseeable, but I'll only likely be using them to buy art...

Does Brewster do anything with Gyroids? If so... when?

You're probably already aware of this: they added lots of new furniture items to the catalogue available on the Nook Stop, lots of which IMO make nice garden feature pieces

Before the 2.0 update, only a free remodel a day. But with the 2.0 update, there's further storage expansions, plus access to the ATM and Storage Chest items from the Nook Stop.

The storage chalets are very handy to have around the island.

I'll be putting one of those storage chalets at my crafting area so that I don't need to travel to get resources out.

Wednesday / Thursday seemed to be the best time to sell turnips using this manner. Avoids both the people looking to sell immediately, plus the panic selling! I made great efforts to make Miawville Christmassy this year, so not looking forward to the cleanup operation. So far I have begun replacing the holly bushes, but not much else. I have a small area which I want to set aside for a Gyroid display zone. I just need a little inspiration first.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

I could do with that.

Got a genuine Quaint Painting arriving tomorrow if anyone needs one. Still got that genuine Rock-Head Statue around, as well.

Please could I have the Quaint Painting? I've had the fake loads of times but the genuine article has thus far evaded me!

I have one near the Nook shops, one outside the museum, one by the airport, one by Kapp'n and one at the top of the map.
Once I'm back up and running you'll have to let me come see you. I've got something nice for you.

Wow. That's a lot. Then again, I suppose it makes sense to have easy storage access when resource gathering.
Hope you get back up and running soon. Can't wait to see what this nice thing is.
