Coming as a statement from such a big developer, this is incredibly open. I am kinda surprised that EA allowed such honesty; is this suggesting that the developer didn't feel they were given enough people, time and focus to build the game to the standard they wanted to?
I've not played the game but I do like this straight-up talk; and - even though it appears that the game was a bit of a rip when it launched at fifty-five quid - I do like that the developer is taking long-term action to improve the experience. For Anthem fans, it's a positive thing that the game could potentially be updated and improved as No Man's Sky and Fallout 76 have been.
