Anyone Here With Just a Wii...?

As time passes I find that I just don't have as much free time as I used to have and whatever free time I do have and that I spend playing games I just feel gulity about....I think I want to become a casual gamer

At the moment I own a 360 and a DS. I have every game rated over 80% on metacritic for the DS yet have probably only played about 3 of them and I also own a variety of top 360 titles but seem to always play COD4 and some COD5 online...for some really weird reason I just find it so hard to get involved in any 360 title as a single palyer experience and as a result gaming has now become sitting in front of COD4 online for 3 hours a night listening to spotty Americans trash talking. I sort of have had a realisation that whilst I'm pretty addicted to the gaming I do I actually no longer really enjoy it and actually finish a session half the day stressed and frustrated rather than relaxed.

So, here is the thing. I was round my friends Friday night and was talking about games and stuff and he showed me a brand spanking new Wii. He basically bought this for his wife along with Wii fit but she decided she didn't want this so the lad had swapped the Wii fit for some other Wii titles including stuff like Mario Galaxy, SSB and Boom Blox...all of this stuff is immaculate! Having never really seen what the Wii is like we connected this up and I was then lost for an hour totally engrossed in Mario Galaxy....as a bonus my wife approved of the game and this was a surprise as the time spent on my 360 is becoming a bit of an issue with us.

So, basically I have the option now of swapping my 360 and Resi 5 for a new Wii with Galaxy, SSB, Boom Blox and Zak & Wiki (?). I am sorely tempted as the main negative of the Wii, ie lack of games, is what is tempting me as I won't be spunking money on games I will never play (as I constantly do) and it would also break the bind of online gaming that is becoming such a chore!

I really need to cut down on the time I spend gaming and also start enjoying all the hobbies I used to do before I got the 360 and spent hours in front of an online game. I do have an all or nothing type attitude and instead of selling the 360 and taking a break or giving up alltogether on gaming this seems like a pretty good compromise.

Anyway, I suppose I just want some thoughts on this and I'm also wondering if anyone has felt anything similar. I don't know I could get the Wii and be bored shitless and thing what a mistake I've made but it's hardly the end of the world is it?

Any thoughts?
