It was just the 1st episode the rest are fine.

And even then it's easily fixed. If you're going to start downloading now then I'd recommend waiting and watching tomorrow in HD.

I've waited far too long for this, I will not wait a moment longer! :D

Ok. Play the first episode in the latest version of VLC, press K about 7-8 times (or till you get 1200ms delay) and it'll be perfect.

Glowy:
Tony has every reason to be against the US. President Logan had his wife killed and the only punishment he got was house arrest in a luxury ranch. Tony did nothing but help his country avoid disaster and he got screwed over.

I dont think he will be a bad guy however Michelle was killed and the President was complicit in that act. He may have anger towards the government about it, and that CTU tried to hide the facts from him. Its more likely he is "undercover" as the bad guy. I mean by Day 8 he will be on jacks side again surely :P

Can anyone confirm if Curtis actually died? Im sure they said he was in a bad way but did they ever confirm his death. Same for Logan? Loose ends or did I miss some closure?

Watched the first 4 episodes. Episode 3 is one of my favourite episodes they've done I reckon.

7x03 spoilers

Tony and Jack's interrogation scene was absolutely immense, the reveal of Bill extremely well done and the escape from the FBI headquarters was also brilliant.

Just watched the first 4, and while the series still has a few problems systemic since seasons 4-6, this is a lot better than what we've seen in recent years.

First off, the pacing is great. There wasn't a cheap climax in episode 4 like seasons 5 and 6 and when that episode finished it really felt like it was building up to something big. The pace of the first episode was nice, in that it didn't exactly get the adrenaline levels up but set the tone for the next couple of episodes and the build up to Jacks and Tony's escape was handled really well in episode 3.

Second off, the action. I'm loving the fact the action has been toned down so far, and the writers haven't resorted to cheap gunfights. Jack's escape in episode 3 and the events in the basement and Mutobo's place at the end of season 4 were both had action and suspense to match.

Lastly the characters were for the most part, great. Loving Alison Taylor and Renee Walker, who are probably the best additions to the series since Season 2 and the introduction of Michelle. Sean Billinger could go either way, but at the moment he's ok (happy with his decision to call the FAA and get his wifes plane down) but the tech head woman is all kinds of annoying at the moment and an obvious clone of Chloe whose presence with Bill is pointless.

The end of episode 4 reminded me of season 2, and that's certainly a good thing, and Tony is working out far better than I ever thought it could. Bring on episode 5!

(p.s Sources who've seen the entire season say from episode 8 onwards, the quality just steps up another level.)

I am, all a bit dull so far.

I have only seen a little of S5 and S6 and haven't seen the TV Movie so am I going to get a little lost in following some of this?

One of the main characters from Redemption will die within the first 4 hours I read.

The son? He didn't even get any screentime.

Episode 3 was brilliant though. 24 at its best most definitely.

Just caught up with Eps 1-4.

strawberry floating immense!

I can't really say anything that hasn't been said by you guys already , apart from:
24 makes my dick hard! 8-) 8-)

It feels so fresh, and more inline with seasons 1 & 3 in regards to quality so far.
And it's really exciting to be watching it air the same time as everyone else (I only started watching the DVD's last March, so I missed having being able to discuss episodes as they happen).

Also, Renee is so strawberry floating hot.. that sexy red hair, those gorgeous, huge eyes and those cute freckles.
God damn, I'd love to HitmanMiles her.

Apart from the absence of Chloe, I thought that was really really good.

I'm guessing because the first 2 episodes have now been shown in the UK we can discuss them openly, yes?
