According to Entertainment Weekly, Itzin's character - the maniacal former President Charles Logan - will return towards the end of the season at the request of President Taylor (Cherry Jones).

I don't know why but I have a good feeling about this season. It looks really really intense, and from the looks of it Jack has something to live for - which always makes some great moments because he gets desperate.

I finished watching this the other week (season 7). so dam good.
My favourite episodes are the invasion of the whitehouse, so ******* tense.
I felt sorry for tony, not only did he lose michelle, he lost his son, which made his near revenge on Alan Wilson more emotional.
Maybe thats what tony wanted to tell Jack in season 5?
Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him.

Season 1 > 5 > 3 > 7 > 2 > 4 > 6

Sooooooo hyped for the next season
