I am really liking the new Character. I'm a Pathfinder main so his abilities translate pretty much exactly how I use Pathfinder;

Tactical - get into position quickly or get out of trouble quickly.

Ultimate - tactically position yourself and your squad to your advantage.

Bought the battle pass which does feel slightly underwhelming, but I'm loving seeing some numbers go up again, and I like the weekly bonus XP for each legend, encouraging you to play as everyone.

Also I'm about all day if anyone fancies any games!

Yeah I really like Octane. I used his ability to great effect past night by sprinting to a respawn beacon just out of the ring to get a team member back into a fight.

His ultimate is fun as well. Have been launching myself at other teams. Not achieved anything yet but the theory is good.

I got the basic battle pass too, I'm hoping it will help me look past the pleb team mates and enjoy the grind. With Firestorm dropping next week it may need a lot to try.

Also bought it, but I have no interest in Firestorm unless it gets rave reviews as I don't own BFV.

It's a great game I am showing no signs of getting tired of and is seriously preventing me progressing in other games, we shall see if that's still the case 91 days down the line at the end of season 1 though!

If we had a party of 6 could we enter two squads into one game?

I don't know how these things work

No, that would be cheating as we could coordinate as a six.

And then face off against each other when no-one else remains. IF, of course, you were able to get into the same game. Otherwise you'd just be communicating over each other and confuse things for both games.

Apparently if you switch your region to Belgium (ie where lootboxes are illegal) you'll receive crafting materials with your battle pass, which are much more useful than random drops.

Just spotted this... Hadn't even realised a patch was dropping.

Apex Legends patch resets account progress, Respawn shuts down servers

First Details on Season 2 Battle Pass

At 10:00 a.m. PST on Saturday, June 8, we’ll be sharing some of the first details on Apex Legends Season 2 as part of our EA PLAY livestream. Today, we want to tell you about just a few of the high-level improvements you can expect from our second Battle Pass. So, without further ado, we'll let our Lead Product Manager, Lee Horn, tell you more. Take it away, Lee!

Leeeeeee-RSPN here, with an update on Battle Pass Season 2. We’ve been listening to the community discussion regarding the Season 1 Battle Pass and have gotten a ton of great feedback from players. Today, we’re excited to share just some of the changes and improvements you can expect with the Season 2 Battle Pass, so y’all can know that we’re headed in the right direction.

TL;DR on Just Some of the Coming Improvements

Level up via Daily and Weekly Challenges.
Time to Battle Pass level 100 should be significantly reduced.
Three additional Legendary skins added to the rewards track.
Three entirely new content categories replace badge and stat tracker rewards.
You’ll earn enough Crafting Metal rewards from the full reward track to craft a Legendary item, or whatever your heart desires.

A lot more details on Season 2 and other stuff at the link - https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/n ... attle-pass

I've got enough in game currency to unlock the new character. Looking forward to it as I'm finding the game is getting a bit stale now.

It's still fun when I play with friends but randoms make everything so painful.
