It puts more control in your hands and it feels great.

Also, the higher rarity guns ARE more powerful, but not much, which I also really like.

I think they should have gone all in and removed loot entirely from the game, the mix of hero powers and random looting feels weird to me and makes me wish looting wasn't a thing.

Assuming you are reasonably armed if you're squad gets into a scrap you need to contribute and ultimately, forget all about who gets the final kill and shoot, and the kills will come.

If you start hiding and trying to stay alive and don't look after your team mates you will die without a kill, as the nature of the game means it's very difficult for even the most technical of FPS players to take down a full squad of 3. Working with your team is everything I can tell you that from experience. I have friends who are coordinated but perhaps not the best technical fps player finishing 2nd with me. Where as the group I play with that are heavily into Blackout and insist on playing it like Blackout can't get into the top 10 ( normally not even top 15)

Last team standing with a shrinking map and choice of drop would still make a viable game and feel not too dissimilar

I get the appeal of looting in other games, but here I can't shake how it feels at odds with being a hero shooter and the high encounter rate fast pace

Even the slow wait time for healing and applying shields feels off to me

Not sure if it's been posted but cross play is in the works.

So, had a few more games and when this works it works. If you're paired with a decent squad who work together you can really kick up a storm

Good games tonight! Really felt like we were gelling as a cohesive unit towards the end.

Last game had plenty of drama. You died, I hid behind a plank of wood, retrieved your banner and heroically brought you back to action.

Yeah great games, I played some good ones with Redbull Ninja later on and they were also good. He showed me the chaos of landing on top of the drop ship at the start of the game. Its like playing Slappers Only again haha.

We've moved onto this albeit one of us can't play. It's awesome.

If you knock some one down does that count as a kill? Or do you have to finish them off?

I think you or someone else on your team has to finish them off for you to get kill. I love the sniping in this, a sniper rifle with full attachments is a beast and the noise you get when you kill someone and blood splatter is fantastic.
