Finally got my PC set up again after moving house so going to have a look at this tonight. I've dabbled in both Fortnite and PUBG but neither have really grabbed me so it will be interesting to see if this is any different.

Give it a few matches it takes a few to get into it's rhythm so to speak.

Yeah I'm going to give it a fair crack of the whip.

How dependant is this on playing with a decent group of people, possibly that you actually know? Fortnite and PUBG can be fairly approachable as an lone player but this feels like it will suffer a bit more in that regard?

The auto group, character selection, jump master and the ping system is great with randos

I've done better with random folk than when I played with mates tbh, though that might just be a savage comment on our ability to organise.

Yeah I only ever play with randoms (no friends lol) and the communication tools make this fantastic, pretty much everyone works together because if you don't you're screwed.

It is fantastic to play in a squad where you are communicating over mic, however it handles really well playing with randos and no mic. The tagging system is so well thought out that I can ask for ammo, tell my team I think we should hold an area and then tell them I've put down a healing drone all in about 3 seconds with the controller.

Also if you're getting shot but don't know where from, press down on the dpad and your character will call out a generic "getting shot at". If its a sniper fire they'll say that, too.

Had more many v good games on this. Might be about tonight if people fancy any games! (PS4)

It has the best non verbal communication system for an online shooter I've ever seen tbh.

Played about five or so games of this (loading my last one for the night now died too quick, one more!). It's really good!

Played a few games this morning on PC its nice defo need to give its a few hours to learn everything.

Too right. It's an almost perfect way to interact with people you don't want to talk to.

Really shows the difference between devs who properly playlets their games and those that don't *couch*Bungie*cough*
