Yeah. It seems more ergonomic though so I’ll leave it to get used to it.

One thing I did read in the release notes was they were going to integrate authenticator functionality into the os. But I can’t find the option anywhere?

Would mean I could get rid of Authy for a more integrated option

Settings - Passwords. Select the password you want to add authentication for, then Set Up Verification Code.

Can you post pics of it when it arrives? Every pic I've seen of the Dark Cherry makes it look lighter than the photos on the Apple store, and the "Midnight" actually looks more of a very dark blue rather than black, especially when side-by-side with last year's black leather case. I'm gonna have to have a look at them in store, I would just go for a red silicone case but those things are absolute dust magnets.

It’s very black in person, basically. Only through low-light compensation (flash/long exposure) does it look blueish

No, "Midnight", I think is the official colour.

I will say that it's not as grippy as I wish it was, but maybe some wear and tear will give it some texture.

Aye the official leather covers I've had are a bit slippy at first but that goes away pretty quickly.

Some millionaires up in here buying official cases he says as the owner of the £80 iPad Air 3 Smart Cover that’s essentially cardboard and magnets covered in silicone

All that extra cash just so I can see the ring on the screen flash up in the case colour when I clip it on.

Honestly, though, I thought the design was a full width cutout at the bottom like on the 12, for less impact on audio, but it’s somehow even less open than my current case (which has one cutout per speaker, left and right) in that there’s a cutout for each individual speaker hole.

I had an official cover for my iPad Air 2 but after just 2 years it broke (tore off from the magnetic spine).

I don't seem to have much luck with Apple accessories. A piece of my iPhone case just snapped off the other week pulling it out of my pocket:

I love Apple stuff but would never fork out for their official accessories given similar quality stuff can be bought at a fraction of the price.

I got one Smart Cover with my first iPad (a 2nd gen one), it fell apart after probably a few months? Sure it was in the £40 region too, just resorted to using cheap knock offs off of Amazon until I got a new iPad Not worth the price at all in my opinion, I’d be wary about splashing out on one of their official smart keyboards or whatever they call them now as the same will probably happen with the edges down the line.

Aye, it’s gigantic. Almost like an entire PS Vita. I might buy one of those Xbox pad clip-on things, actually because it would surely be great for the Arcade games and/or any cloud and streaming stuff.

I got a "Caseology parallax" case last year and it's pretty good. First time not buying an Apple case. It even came with a couple of high quality glass screen protectors which I usually don't bother with.

I'm waiting on the Backbone One controller. It seems to get the best reviews for iPhone functionality for gaming.

Bet they try to get round it by keeping Lightning and bundling an adapter.
