Do they actually make money off Apple TV.

They seem to forever be giving it away for free.

Only way I’ll probably get Apple TV is if they get the F1 rights, even then they’d have to wrestle the UK airing rights away from Sky, which may be unlikely.

Screw the bottom line, I want more great Sci-Fi shows and Apple should spend all the money they have on them.

They can get The Expanse soon as the rights are being taken away from Amazon.

They should just become a TV only business.

I'm surprised you're not obsessed with their M1/2/3 machines given their gooseberry fool hot performance.

The only apple device I've owned was a 2nd gen Ipod Touch.
The only computer I've had since my ancient PC 20 years ago is a chromebook and I'm not sure that counts.

New phone time, 15 Pro Max.

Phones are incremental now but still I appreciate the new build and 5x zoom and of course USB C

Natural Titanium is very pretty

I came across https://web.skyemu.app/ the other day. It’s a progressive web app GBA/GBC emulator for iOS that you can just add to your home screen like any other web app and run it offline. It loads files directly from ‘Files’. It does play DS games as well but not very quickly.

For those wanting more info: https://github.com/skylersaleh/SkyEmu?t ... me-ov-file

Due to their price increases, I'm going to leave Spotify and subscribe to Apple Music instead.

I am looking at their subscription costs and am a little confused as to what I can share with family.

My wife is refusing to leave Spotify and will just use it with adverts, which means the individual Apple One subscription (Cloud, Music, TV and Arcade) would be perfect for me, less than I'd be paying for Cloud storage & Spotify, plus added games and TV!

I get that on the individual plan that Music isn't something I can share, but would Apple Arcade count under family sharing?

Or would I need to get the £25 family version of Apple One to be able to share Arcade with my son?

You can’t share the Apple One Individual bundle, no. It’s not a discounted collection of the individual subscriptions it contains, but a single subscription that gives you access to the included services, if that makes sense.

You’re right that, when bought individually, some get free family sharing like Apple TV and Apple Arcade, while others need a family subscription like Apple Music. But you’d need the £25 tier to share the bundle with another family member

I’m on the top tier because I like the included Apple News+ and Fitness, but I’m a little annoyed at how often they seem to hike the price. It used to be £29.95 and now it’s almost £40 just through annual increases.

Cheers, yeah that makes sense.

Looks like my son won't be getting free games.

Taken from the Apple website:

Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade always include Family Sharing, even in the Apple One Individual plan.

Awesome, it was already better value than Spotify, but that's brilliant. Thanks

My problem with Apple One is that I want Cloud, Arcade and Fitness, but wouldn’t use TV, Music or News. None of the plans make any sense for that.
