Any reason why the iOS 8 update is so bloody slow?

Download the GM version. It was released to developers last week and is exactly the same as the public release. That's what in did.

In iTunes go to your iPhone and hold shift and click on either update or restore (I did restore because my phone was jailbroken.)

Other than the quick calls feature which will come in handy I can't see an awful lot that's changed to be honest.

Most of the big changes won't become apparent until most apps have been updated to use the new stuff like quick reply, inter-app connectivity and the widgets.

This may be the wrong place to test this, but I've noticed that the predictive text thing seems to be throwing up a lot of video game stuff with very little letters which makes me wonder if it's been profiling me already?

For example:

Typing MA the first suggestion is Mario,
Typing P the second suggestion is Pokemon
Typing Z the first suggestion Zelda
Typing NI give me Nintendo

Is this the same for everyone or has it just worked out what I'm all about already?
