Haven't worn them except to try them on, but they feel less comfortable to me. It's hard plastic in my ear as opposed to the softer rubber tip of the Pros.
Your mileage my vary though.

M1 Ultra. M1 Max has a secret die-to-die architecture! So they can stick two together. Insane specs.

All-new Mac Studio and Display. Like a new Mac Pro, but looks like a beefy Mini. Has revolutionary front USB and SD card slots. Up to 128GB unified memory.

starlight is close enough, but id rather spend the extra and pick up a pro. or even a certified refurb one.

I don’t know what I expected but when it was slowly being revealed I saw the form factor and couldn’t move on from “this is the new Mac mini” despite all the ridiculous specs being detailed. My brain just couldn’t let go of this being a circa-£600 product. Like wow, all this in such a cheap package! That’s insane value. I don’t need one but maybe I do. Then when the price was revealed just waking up.

Of course. You strawberry floating dumbass. lmao you stupid piece of gooseberry fool

Stuff announced was lovely but lack of Promotion and 64gb as base storage on the Air is a disappointment, but guess it would cannibalise the pro line.

The new Mac stuff was phenomenal, but the percentage of people on this planet who need anything near that kind of power must be nominal.

Having to faff around finding the damn USB ports at the back of the PS5 yesterday (I wanted to use a steering wheel and headset), I appreciate putting the USB ports back at the front of a device.

is the ipad air a replacement for the regular ipad?

i just ordered a gen 9 yesterday morning as part of a phone deal, and saw there was a new one in the afternoon when i was looking at accessories - am i out of date after a matter of hours?

its a new record considering i got my iphone x the week before the new ones appeared

There's 4 lines

iPad (you just got the 9th gen)
iPad mini (Kind of like the air but smaller obviously)
Air (mid-range)
Pro

The gen 9 iPad is honestly the best value iPad on the market today for price to performance. You'll love it.

The base iPad really is fantastic value, the new iPhone SE looks pretty good value as well from a very quick glance. Next time I need to upgrade (hopefully I’ll get at least another couple of years out of my current iPad and iPhone. I would be tempted next time to go for an iPhone SE and then an iPad Air, as I use my iPad a lot more at home than my iPhone so makes sense to have a nicer device sat at home rather than in my pocket most of the day! Well thats supposing they keep the SE around long term now…..

While it’s annoying they don’t start at 128GB now (as I can’t imagine Apple pay a load more for 128GB over 64GB with the quantities they buy in) I just wish they’d at least have it as an option on all of their devices, but I guess they do that so they have fewer variations of each line. They should just start at 128GB these days

Anyone used the Air 4 and new mini? I’m tempted to grab an Air 4 with some places dropping the price with the new one coming this month.

But everytime I’ve been in the Apple shop the Mini has just felt more useful and convenient in my hands.

My partner reckons the Air will be better just for the screen size and watching content but I dunno, there’s something about the Mini I just like.

I’d mainly be using it for content, browsing maybe some reading and such. The bigger appeal for the Air for me is if anything ever happened to my MacBook (which is old) I could still least get by for a while with a keyboard with it, the Mini probably wouldn’t want to use a keyboard on it
