I think Spotify is the one service I'd never ditch due to the compatibility with my TV, Sonos One, PS5, Chromecast etc. Plus I've been on it for years way back when it was invite-only so I've got so many playlists and liked songs on there.
Importing stuff across the services is a piece of cake now, and Apple Music (like Apple TV+) is finding its way in to more and more stuff. Google/Nest Home devices have native support of it, while Spotify refuses to natively support HomePod. But they’ve beat Spotify to lossless audio, and Atmos spatial audio.
The only real disappointment with it I have had in the past is the fact that it’s a little more fiddly to use my watch as a remote for the music playing on another device, but that’s because the watch can also play stuff completely independently with no phone at all. So at the point that you interact with the watch app you have to make a point of specifically telling it where you want the music to play.
The lyric support in the phone app is really something. Timed to perfection for each line, and you can just scrub the lyrics and touch what you want to hear and it will jump to that part of the song. Decent for some rap & hip hop tracks where you didn’t quite catch a bar or two so you want to hear it back again
