I have noise cancellation headphones, but I dont really undersrand the point of noise cancellation bit. Surely we all listen to music etc loud enough that external sound is not an issue?

I hope so! I’m also hoping for new AirPods (I love mine and being able to say Hey Siri would be great) also a new iPod should be interesting I just don’t know what they can do with it more than the last one unless it’s like the current iPhones with a large screen, no bezels etc

Got mine ordered too with the wireless case. Delivery between 26th-28th though which is a bit vague and I'll probably miss delivery.

If AirPower isn't announced this week then strawberry float knows when it's gonna happen. I've got two wireless chargers anyway so I'm fine for now.

First time setting up a new iPhone for a few years. Love how you can just hold them next to each other and it automatically transfers the Apple ID information Still took about four hours to restore from the backup and sync all the music and redownload all the apps, but it was reasonably straightforward.

Are any of these new apple apps worth keeping? Definitely saving Garageband, but Numbers and Keynote don't really feel worth it. What's this Clips thing, too? Like Apple does Snapchat?

Well... at least theoretically in really noisy environments you want a better seal on the headphone so that you don't need to do that, but generally, yes. The lower the output of the headphone is the less your ears will naturally attenuate making you actually hear less detail the louder the audio is.

Our ears have a built-in defence mechanism against loud volume levels but if you do that for too long even without realising it you will suffer hearing loss and never hear those specific sounds again (there's no such thing as total hearing loss, only partial).

It’s the first time I have anything Apple engraved but I don’t ever intend to sell them so it doesn’t matter, I was curious to see how it looked, I was going to get my Apple Pencil engraved but I ended up having to order from PC World

My AirPods arrived! I love being able to get the track I want by saying hey Siri because I have these and my original set to right tap pause/play and left tap to skip track so I didn’t use Siri with them apart from speaking into my watch which was quite slow at times

I don’t think Apple have made any claims about improved sound quality but I would definitely say these are better, I tried these new ones and then straight after tried my old ones with the same song and I could hear a definite improvement it seemed clearer especially when the volume was turned up

I’m also really pleased with the engraving and that it didn’t slow down my delivery and that they came packed and sealed like they would have done (I wasn’t sure if they would be sealed)

Got mine with the wireless case as well. Had no idea the case would be so strawberry floating tiny Dunno why but it always looks bigger when you see it in photos or videos. I've never used first gen AirPods so can't compare them to the new ones but the sound quality is definitely better than the normal EarPods, a lot more bass than I was expecting too. Sounds a good as my current BeatsX at least, if not better.

They fit fine in my ear so far, never had a problem with the EarPods falling out unless the cable got yanked on something.
