Thanks for the replies, I checked out the BestsX ones and they seem pretty good, the AirPods definitely look better visually

If I bought this now, and sold it in July, still in its box unopened. Would it be worth a lot less? Baring in mind the retail price of an iphone X is 1150 for the best design. I would probably be aiming to sell it for £1000 on ebay or facebook marketplace as brand new (or here).

You should be able to sell it for around the RRP since it'll be brand new. The price would only really go down once the new iPhone is out in September/October.

Do you think the new iPhone 9 be a downgrade on the iPhone X and do you think we will get a new iPod Touch?

It'll probably have the usual better processor and stuff. Not sure what they're going to do this year with the numbered models. The 7 and 8 both just felt like iterations of the 6 and they skipped naming the 8 the 7s. You'd think they'd want to get rid of the home buttons and have all there models have a full screen on the front like the X as soon as possible but I can't see them doing that unless they can get the cost down to the same price point and the non-X phones. It'll probably just be the predictable:

8s and 8s Plus
Xs and Xs Plus (the price of this would be :dread:)

I'm surprised they haven't discontinued the iPod Touch yet. Could see that happening in the next few years.

I keep thinking they may release a retro style iPod or an anniversary model

This year we're expecting 3 iPhones, right?

I think the iPhone 8 will be the last iPhone of the "classic" design style we've seen since the 6, they'll all be notch-y. Not sure how I feel about the design, to be honest.

From April Apple are requiring all new apps to support the X's screen size so that could be a sign they're moving towards that this year. There's also rumours of the 8s (or whatever it'll be called) still having the normal LCD screens and the OLED being kept for the newer X. It's time they got rid of the huge bezels on all their phones because they're really stating to look daft.

In other new I've been offered a 64GB X from a mate's corporate perks thing for a "decent" price. Very tempted :slol:

In which case give Google Fit a look, it does location and stuff I believe. (if it exists, I think it does but I dont have an iPhone so can't be 100%)

I assume its the same on Apple, but Google Maps has a timeline feature which shows you where you were, how long you were there, the roads you went on to get to your destination, how long the wall took etc.

I think the bezels on the iPads are big enough to fit the Face ID tech in without needing a notch. Wouldn't be surprised to see it added into them this year and maybe the MacBooks too.

Has anyone moved from Android to IOS for the X? It's new phone time and I'm considering going back to Apple but I'm wondering if it's really worth spending so much money and relearning another operating system when the difference between X and S9 are so minimal.

I went for it and got a iPhone X, I found the box from my first ever iPhone (3G 16GB White) and I still have the receipt it was 10 years ago so fitting that I got the X (10) this year

I wear them to the gym and they are fine not the treadmill or when I'm lying down on a bench.

The only time they fell out was when I had my coat on, zipped right up the collar of my coat would hit them out of my ear.

I finally went for it and purchased a pair of AirPods and wow! I love them! like you said they also fit my ear perfectly and stay in really well, I didn’t realise how much hassle the wires really were until now, it’s also really nice to hold my iPhone while listening to music without it being restricted because I have wires attached to it that run underneath my jacket, I couldn’t be happier with them, I also find the instant linking when you open the case magic
