The price of that stand (not sure what device you actually use on it mind) is surely a joke right? $1000 for that? :slol:

It’s like the ultimate piss take, priced up just to see what they can actually get away with. Even if it was in a sale at 50% you’d still feel ripped off.

In fact you could ask someone to custom build it for you and it’d cost less.

I’ve noticed some people have started comparing it to the recurring monolith in A Space Odyssey.

I've not done a jailbreak in ages. They've added so much stuff in iOS over the past few years that I used to do it for. I think the only thing missing that I really want is haptic feedback when typing.

That stand.... one thousand dollars. Incredible!

I will hold out for the space grey variant, though.

Does the stand do anything other than the obvious holding up a monitor?

You can twist the screen so it's vertical. Revelatory.

Wow, that is impressive. How can they fit such tech into a stand that only costs $999???

Can’t see it dying any time soon within the next few years either unless Apple go out of their way to make a Windows-specific version of the separate Music, TV and Podcast apps since the Mac versions of them are basically the iOS versions running on MacOS.

Those prices

Ah the amount of cash needlessly spunked away on Apple tat that could have gone toward something useful to society, it saddens me in a way.

I only do it to get a pure black dark mode and YouTube downloads

I think human trafficking is generally frowned upon. You shouldn't be buying Ana at all really, even if she is cheaper than a magic Apple monitor stand.

Weird they didn't mention it at the conference but it looks like the iPad now has mouse support.

Ah cool, like android has for years. ;)

I really need to upgrade my iPad - still running the original Retina display iPad 3 from circa 2012 at the moment!

And Xbox1/PS4 controllers supported in iOS 13.
