I wear them to the gym and they are fine not the treadmill or when I'm lying down on a bench.

The only time they fell out was when I had my coat on, zipped right up the collar of my coat would hit them out of my ear.

I finally went for it and purchased a pair of AirPods and wow! I love them! like you said they also fit my ear perfectly and stay in really well, I didn’t realise how much hassle the wires really were until now, it’s also really nice to hold my iPhone while listening to music without it being restricted because I have wires attached to it that run underneath my jacket, I couldn’t be happier with them, I also find the instant linking when you open the case magic

Glad to hear that you got them and enjoying the new experience :)
Yes its so neat that opening the case triggers the power levels on your phone and also how it automatically connects to the last device they were connected to. I also like how music will pause when you take even one pod out and resume when you put it back on. Or sometimes I just use one EarPod like when at work but it will still blast stereo sound through just the one.
Answering phone calls is also great and people can hear my voice really clearly on the other side. They charge really quickly too!
I bought a silicone case for mine off amazon which protects the case from getting damaged or falling out your pocket easily.

I tried using them for a call today and I was amazed with how well they worked, my parents are away on holiday so I called them on their mobile and they said it was like I was in the same room it was that clear (they are in their 70’s so hearing on the phone can sometimes be a problem)

I changed the double tap commands today for one to stop the track and the other one to skip, I didn’t think you could change what they do so it was a nice surprise

I might get one if those cases, at the moment I use a small cloth bag so it doesn’t get scratched,

Have to use Macbook Pro 2017 with Retina Display at work. :dread:

How do I output to an external display and only have the image display on the external display? I want the Macbook screen open so I can use the Keyboard and Trackpad.

Why would anyone want less screen estate to play with...

People at work dock their laptop leaving it closed then work a single screen some of to jumping between stuff it's like for strawberry float sake open the laptop and have more space!

You’ll want to be in mirroring mode. Command + F1 should switch between mirroring and extended.

The icloud is useless.

So I've tried and tried to delete photos on there so that I don't have to pay the extra. I've deleted hundreds and apparently there is only 1 gb of photos on icloud now (when O'm open inside of icloud).

The second I go out of it into settings, I get the same display as i did before that I'm using 6 GB of data for photos and that I can't downgrade until I've freed up space, or risk losing all photos (some I actually want).

Anyone know how to permanently delete these strawberry floaters? I don't want to keep giving apple a pound a month for photo's that as far as I'm aware I have deleted.

I'm using an iPad by the way on ios 11.

Sorry, I’m not totally following you, but have you emptied the ‘trash’ section of your photos? Go to Photos the app, then Albums, then scroll down to Recently Deleted. They usually automatically delete after 30 days but you may as well do it now.
Also, videos take up way more space than pictures so check if you have any long videos on there.
And another thing, you’re using iCloud Photo Library right? Do you even need it? If not, then turn it off and you’ll keep the photos locally stored on the iPad.

Thanks for the response.

I've only recently bought the iPad so they're all on icloud and not on the tablet, I will try to download them locally too. .

Anyway, I've emptied the trash section and the photos I don't want are no longer there in my icloud. When I'm inside icloud it says 1.5gb of photos.

When I'm outisde of it it says 4.7gb of photos on the 'bar' that shows how much memory i'm using.

There were hundreds of photos and duplicates transferred from various phones over the years.

At work it's a 21:9 super wide screen plus laptop screen.

But if I just want to plug the laptop into the TV and watch a video (with laptop lid open!), I don't want the Macbook screen showing the same video. It's incredibly distracting.

Watching a video on a TV is a different thing, I said at work. When at home sure I can understand it, but at work I can't.

Some decent iOS stuff announced at WWDC https://www.theverge.com/2018/6/4/17417 ... -wwdc-2018

Dark mode coming to MacOS too which is nice, and iOS apps will be able to run on Macs.

That's helpful for social media management as there's a whole load of gooseberry fool you can only do on an app without hacks just to tie people to their devices, it's really annoying. Instagram being the worst offender (it's literally impossible to view messages any other way than on the app which is a nightmare for businesses).

It's not open for third-party devs until 2019 unfortunately the ones in this year's update are just going to be Apple's own ones. They showed off Stocks, News, Home and Voice Memo apps for macOS and later revealed they were the iOS versions.

Liked their middle finger to Facebook too.

Safari for macOS is finally getting favicons too

So not very helpful then. Nevermind.

Weird that they announced it so early. I wonder if this is why Twitter discontinued their official Mac app.

I think the bezels on the iPads are big enough to fit the Face ID tech in without needing a notch. Wouldn't be surprised to see it added into them this year and maybe the MacBooks too.

A bezel-less iPad/tablet just wouldn't make sense as you hold them differently to phones.

So my trusty 27” iMac 2009 has finally succumbed to future OS updates.

Best computer I’ve ever had.
