Ordered a pair. Interested in seeing how good the noice cancellation is compared to my Bose.
Be intrigued to hear how you find them.

I definitely would like to know too whether effective noise cancelling can be done with such small earbuds.
Details look great
https://www.apple.com/uk/airpods-pro/If it's everything Apple promise I will get a black set when they're released.
I'm really impressed with them so far. Didn't get the chance to properly test them out until today with my commute into college, the bus I get always ends up being a shitty, loud single-decker packed with people and the noise cancellation works really well drowning most of it out. There's a lot of loud banana splits in my class and the noice cancellation makes the room completely silent which is great! Couldn't hear a word of what the person sitting next to me was saying but I could see his mouth moving
It was actually pretty weird walking around town not being able to hear anything like traffic or people talking, it reminds me of when there's been heavy snow and everywhere is just silent. Really surprised how good they work given the size, they're about 25% shorter than the normal AirPods so they look less "daft" (if the look of them bothers you). The Transparency feature is impressive too, it turns off the noise cancelling and uses the exterior mics to let you hear noise as well as the music which is handy if you want to hear what's going on around you since you can hear better with that feature on rather than with it and the noise cancelling off since the buds are in-ear.
They fit in my ear better than other in-ear headphones I've used e.g. with the BeatsX I had to change the size of the silicone buds and use the little hook things it came with to keep them from falling out. These Pros fit great and there's an in-built thing that plays a short tune and uses the interior mics to determine which fit of the silicone buds are best for your ear (it comes with three different sizes). You don't get the weird pressure feeling like with other in-ear headphones either because there's a valve thing built in to equalise it.
Haven't tested the call quality with them but apparently it's just the same as the Airpods 2. Noise cancelling doesn't seem as good as my Bose QuietComforts but I wasn't really expecting them to be since they're basically best-in-class and over-the-ear.
Bit of a ramble but basically:
Sound quality - good
Noise cancelling - very, very good
