Didn't say anything as I didn't want to let the FFs figure it out but man you were laying it on thick.

Was anybody buying it? I called it out as BS days ago.

Yeah, I was strongly suspicious of the two bullet claim like I said after I died. 4 kills woukd be more than 10% of the starting player base.

I told him not to run for mayor while he was pretending he could protect himself. It made no sense.

The man so often targeted by the vigilante finally got to live the role that gave him nightmares.

So my understanding is:

*If they lynch the villager, the NC kills Emily/Hugo, then J kills the NC and wins. If the NC kills the Jac, village kills them and win.

*If they lynch the Jacobin, then NC kills Emily/Hugo, and it's down to one unconfirmed versus the final NC for the lynch tomorrow to decide the win.

*If they lynch the NC, then J kills Emily/Hugo, and we have the same situation as above with one unknown and one bad guy left.

Looks like the NC have the hardest route to win, as it requires two lynches going their way? Villagers are the ones who have it to lose as the first decision made tomorrow is theirs, and will dictate how it all goes.

Yes, hello all. Zendaya here. Thought I'd ready through the thread first to see what was going on here. And yeah... Now that I think about it, wet and Zendaya in the same post is sure to bring GRcade up the Google rankings for such a search term.

I tried my best, but I'm not sure my calls were all that great. Clint really was just a random pick by me, so the fact I actually landed on a FF on Day 1 was surprising. But from there... I dunno. It was still fun to come up with the various theories I did and see if they managed to attract any attention. I suppose I also have bragging rights on there being two freedom fighter factions, as I can't remember seeing anyone bringing it up before I did.

Thanks to OB for running the game. It's been a great one to be a part of.

No worries Denny, you did what you could and certainly played your part.

I just completed some thorough research and GRcade does not feature on the top search results for 'wet Zendaya'. I will keep checking though, just for the benefit of the forum. :shifty:

The early Clint call opened up early conversations between ourselves and Ryan/Nun which I enjoyed. Had we known that there were two factions of Freedom Fighter, we may not have been so trusting of each other, but you were both cleared with the Etang quickly.

If I were still alive and deciding for the town, I think I would lynch Maggie next. She's voted alongside other National Convention members twice and she's almost certainly not Jacobian, having voted to lynch Anya. After that, I'm inclined to trust Jodie, so I'd be directing the final town kill at the virtually silent Morgan, though of course there may be evidence found behind the scenes which I have missed and of course I'd be spending a lot more time looking to find more evidence. It's hard to tell with inactive players as it could be real life holding Morgan back from posting, but it is suspicious behavior at at this point in the game.

Like I said in this situation the NC should choose not to kill, force the Jac to kill Emily/Hugo, and then the surviving villager gets to choose which faction wins.

Unless NC are forced to kill?

The best move for the FFs as a whole is to poach the mayorship tomorrow (2/5 = 40%). Then it plays out as a town miscondemn albeit with the possibility of the ffs killing both townies in the night. Theory dictates NC wouldn't agree to this though as the jac could kill them as soon as they kill town so the NC would still want to no kill and force the game to go to a town kingmaker.

I think the NC sacrifice, while interesting, was a mistake. They'd be in a better position alone with a single night kill as the extra jac kill buys them nothing.

We were suspicious the whole way of the two bullets stuff. It was Hugo's best play by a distance.

I don't think our role PM said we were forced to kill so there shouldn't be an issue with just not sending a kill PM if it's beneficial.

I think the alliance would work without the chance of betrayal if the NC is the one who gets the mayorship as they then can't be killed by the Jac, so they lynch a villager and each kill a villager in the evening to leave them as the last two standing. The NC couldn't betray the Jac either as then there would be only one night kill and they'd be left with two villagers on the final day for an easy village win.

Yeah, I'm not sure the sacrifice was the best play in hindsight, although it seemed that I was one of the higher level suspects so not sure if it would have played out too much differently. We'd have had to convince the mayors to kill the Jac and the villager in any order today and tomorrow and then we'd have made up 40% of the votes. I suspect I would have been killed either today or tomorrow anyway though but perhaps would have been better to go for that. In our discussions we'd overlooked the mayor protection tomorrow and thought if the villager gets lynched tomorrow each faction could kill a villager to result in the 1-1 from each faction scenario.

I didn't ever believe Hugo had a bullet left. Doubted it when he kept saying how safe he was, and then confirmed as soon as he didn't let other confirmed citizens have mayoral protection over him.

Was never 100% sure about another Vigi though, and it wasn't until right near the end that I started to think there weren't any protection roles.

So the Friday role list didn't actually list any roles!!

We actually considered several times to make up a role and try and do some big plays but the role list being revealed in a few days put us off.
