What exactly did this involve? I presume something behind the scenes?
Drummy copied me in to a couple of early PMs with his team. It was just my way of describing the impressive planning and consideration he undertook straight off the bat. Real shame he died so soon.
I'll be very interested to hear what the Jacobins thought and were up to. Don't want to give away too much stuff while the game is playing to keep people in suspense though.
I will say one thing though, the offhand Mirabeau remark is a loud of crap designed to get people wondering what it meant. Hugo thinks it's the secret phrase I mentioned (it's not).
I mentioned if OB had played AC Unity as it felt.loke that at first, but if you've played the game you'd know that Mirabeau was someone who appeared to be in the revolutionary camp but was actually passing letters to the crown. Was an idea I was going to run with as a role claim at one point, that ultimately got abandoned as there was no way anything was going to work once Hugo came up vigilante.
A real bloody annoyance that he was in there. I was fine going in the Etang and I was fine that I'd manoeuvred it so I wasn't going in with 3 trustworthy names or whatever got mentioned. Only Emily was really trustworthy. I felt I had a 3 name buffer between me and the gallows and that there could potentially be a Jacobin in there due to odds (I know how many bad guys are out there).
Even so, I looked at the names going in, with Keanu, Hugo and Karen going in, and was confident that even if I ended up dead, I'd take down those names and kill time. I'd get to Friday which is going to be a pivotal day and I knew the current threshold we would need to force votes if we needed to. Before Hugo's Vigo reveal, I'd laid the groundwork so that I believe only Emily would have been less likely than I.
The plus side is that me going in the Etang did take out two human players, and had it been me versus Hugo before the reveal, I was confident of getting him lynched ahead of me. He messed up with Karen but he did at least give himself a security net that got him out of it, to be fair to him.
Still I like to think I played my life okay and got a decent amount out of it. It's going to nag at me whether a green or red Etang on Tuesday was the right play. I also could have been a real gooseberry fool and chopped Henry when mayor too.
