One on the left looks Phantasy Star like but that was never an arcade right?

The one on the left I'll be VERY impressed if anyone gets.

Kudos and a shoutout to anyone who can name all four of the games in there. (I really doubt anyone will get all four).

I reckon Bubble Bobbie/Puzzle Bobble, Ghouls n Ghosts (looks like someone in armour holding a lance - maybe Knights of the Round instead) and Rush n Attack, can't work out what the others could be.

Here's my guesses. Left to right: Final Fantasy Arcade, Rush'n Attack, Gauntlet, Bubble Bobble.

The soldier is def Op Wolf .

I think the 3rd one across is a treasure elf from Golden Axe.

There's a good mix of right and wrong answers going on here.

The first one will be revealed at the weekend. I'm actually putting the finishing touches to it now, so I may even launch it a few days early as I'm hella busy for a change this weekend.

That was a cracking episode, Devlin. It feels like you've struck a great balance between sharing information and your own views; and you've got an easy-going presentation style. I really enjoyed watching it .

Somehow I've not played Op Wolf although I think I have the C64 cassette version tucked away somewhere. Several times I have been tempted to try and grab the Master System version as I've heard good things about that.

If there are any GRcadians who are fans of the game, it may be worth checking out RetroDave Nintendo on YouTube - he has recently bought an old arcade machine and restored it. He documenetd the task right from picking up the machine through the steps he took to get it up and running. Here's the first vid in his series:

Is the game on the left Guardian Hero's?

The Master System version of Operation Wolf is one of those games that simply didn't translate to home formats too well, trying to aim with the d-pad was horrible.

Just a heads up that Episode 8 will be dropping this weekend at some point. It's the small silhouette to the right of Operation Wolf guy in the teaser pic.
