This is almost up there with it.

I would struggle to be okay with a loved one wanting this  I mean, I would have to bite all my tongues to not lecture them.

A tweet from the other day made me think of one I came up with: a cheese sandwich... with crumpets as the bread. Yes, it included butter. It was ridiculously cheesy and dense. Must have taken a month to digest.

So is there anything worse/better :dread: than deep fried chocolate bars? What's the worst one you've come up with and actually eaten?

They're over there, by their theremin.

Has to be the Fool's Gold Loaf, supposedly a particular favourite of Elvis.

Fool's Gold Loaf is a sandwich made by the Colorado Mine Company, a restaurant in Denver, Colorado. The sandwich consists of a single warmed, hollowed-out loaf of bread filled with the contents of one jar of creamy peanut butter, one jar of grape jelly, and a pound of bacon. Wikipedia
Food energy (per serving): ~8,000 kcal
Main ingredients: Bread, creamy peanut butter, grape jelly, bacon

Looks nice. Too much caramel, though.

I had a deep friend Mars when I was younger. Was alright. Deep fried lion bar was better.

Not directly related to his death but just how many people would be on a private jet that would polish off 22 of them?
David Adler's book contains a detailed account of the event that made the Fool's Gold Loaf sandwich famous.[10] On the night of February 1, 1976, Elvis Presley was at his home at Graceland in Memphis, entertaining Capt. Jerry Kennedy of the Denver, Colorado police force, and Ron Pietrafeso of Colorado's Strike Force Against Crime. The three men began discussing the sandwich, and Presley decided he wanted one right then. Presley had been to the restaurant before, while in Denver.[10]

Kennedy and Pietrafeso were friends of the owners, so they were driven to the Memphis airport and boarded Presley's private jet, the Lisa Marie, and flew the two hours to Denver. When they arrived at Stapleton International Airport at 1:40 AM, the plane taxied to a special hangar where the passengers were greeted by Buck Scott, the owner of the Colorado Mine Company, and his wife Cindy who had brought 22 fresh Fool's Gold Loaves for the men.[10] They spent two hours in the hangar eating the sandwiches, washing them down with Perrier and champagne.[10] Presley invited the pilots of the plane, Milo High and Elwood Davis, to join them. When they were done, they flew back to Memphis without ever having left the Denver airport.[10]

A pub near me does deep fried mars bar with ice cream. Although they only use a fun size mars bar, it actually tastes amazing.

If that ice cream at the top of the page was in a bowl instead of a cone, I think it would be pretty nice. Let it sit for a few mins for the caramel to go solid and it'd be like the caramel in a mars bar

I've had a battered Mars bar before, it was pretty decent I thought.

In terms of weird and unhealthy foods I once made a burger where the bun was two burgers and the burger was a scotch pie.

I've still never ever seen anywhere actually do a deep fried Mars bar.

Deep fried pizzas are very good though.

Weirdest thing I've had is a beef pie. All it was was a beef burger at the bottom of some pastry. It looked like a proper pie too. I was very disappointed. I wish I still had the photo, i remember where it was from though, it was in a chip shop in Dundee.

I still want to try a deep fried Mars bar. I dont know where I can get one.

I wouldn't mind that ice cream in the OP, But only to try it just the one time.

Butter and cheese on crumpets is pretty normal. Taking another crumpet and making a sandwich is a bit odd but not really any different to just eating two crumpets...?
