I've probably calmed my buying down this year. Lockdown has been quite helpful. I just wish my family would all play ball at Christmas.

I know it sounds really Scrooge but I've tried for repeated years to stop my brother and sister and in-laws buying me anything for Christmas on the provisio that I don't get them anything. I'm happy to buy my army of nephews and nieces something but grown adults who can all buy whatever they want themselves exchanging gifts just seems daft. Save your money, people.

The exception to this is my mum and dad who I will always go out of my way for at Christmas.
