The message we have been given of "Jacques de Molay' tu seres venge" roughly translates to:

Jacques de Molay, you will be avenged

It would seem likely that we are lookinging at an attempt to re-establish the Knights Templar and the books shared below may help us to understand our foe.

I think a good setup would be to make an initial short list of 5 people and then if there are any freedom fighters in the initial list then we can rotate new people in/out two at a time as whenever we get a switch in color from that point on it should narrow down our options to a 50/50.

Well, since we can't use the etang today, it gives us the chance to see how many get killed during the night and whether such a plan would be feasable.

What we need are 5 players to come forward and volunteer to go in the erm, thingy.
If we get 5 that go in and don't trigger the machine we have a base to work from.
I'd happily go in.

Isn't it very likely with 30ish players that a wrong'un will have posted on the first page anyway? I'd be stunned if that wasn't the case. You'd probably get a similar hit rate by collating the players that didn't post on the first page tbh.

I don't mind going in the thingy machine, if we're looking for volunteers

32 players, minus 1 for t odays guillotine and well lose at least 1 from night kills

that means 30 players when the etang is in play

meaning we can semi seer everyone in the game in six days

if we waste days putting repeats in the etang it gives the ffs chance to evade being killed and waste our time

there is victory in death remember

best endgame scenario for us is being in a position where the players all know the subgroups in which the ffs lie

I think this might be too simplistic.

Let us say, for example, five individuals go into the Etang tomorrow and it glows red. We then know that at least one of the five is a FF, we then would need to spend days working the guillotine on those five until we snare a bad guy. Then it becomes a case of, "we got one, are there any other bad guys in that group?" etc. This is not going to be as cut and dry as it first appears.

Please don't update your platform without removing the votes. This is very egregious. You could be a freedom fighter with Zendaya on your team, put her up for the lynch while nagging her to make her account. Then you swap to someone else and suspicions are allayed.

Removing my vote from you because I don't like that you swapped candidate, didn't inform me and kept my vote.

Officially the vote is just for the mayor, so I don't think your vote is removed unless you remove it yourself.

Just catching up. My partner will not be happy if I am spending my Valentine's evening on GR, so I am unlikely to be about after work hours.

Would it be fair to conclude that there are no/minimal seer functions in this game? The river seems to perform that role. So assumedly the Alpha Freedom Fighter can be dipped without setting off the river?

Apologies all for my tardiness, had a bit of a mishap with the boat I was arriving on.

The Etang seems like an interesting mechanic. Ideally we want to get 5 confirmed loyal citizens as early as possible as we can then test others with more confidence.

My bad, you stated you were happy with going for inactives so I assumed you'd still be on board.

Oddly strong response though. My ballot was always to go for an inactive on the basis they're not helping the 40% lynch majority so since Zendaya has arrived and started posting it makes sense to update to the next on the list.
