It's only 17 players in each game.

The games are indeed quite active though. In the early stages of the game, you should expect around 500 posts per 24 hours. Not all can do it, but it's definitely doable, unless you can only rarely be at your computer or on your phone, of course

OK. Roughly speaking, how long does a normal game tend to last?

Depends on which phase lengths you sign up for. You can pick between 12/12, 36/12, 48/24 and 72/24. So a 12/12 game could be over in a little over a week. 36 and 48 would likely last a couple of weeks. A 72/24 could last 3 weeks or more.

Hmm... I'll have to read up on this. Sounds like it could be a fun time. I think my one and only mafia entry went well last time.

I've picked up the general flow of how things would play out, so I'm good in terms of the rules. There might be one or two mafia-specific things I'd need help with once the games start, but those can easily be answered during them.

Is there a possibility we could have a SONM slot and a GRcade slot, given the two sites had/have such vibrant histories of Mafia and Werewolf respectively?

I think we're supposed to have a representative and a backup confirmed to begin with, to offset any risk from the rep dropping out. At the moment DarkRula is interested, and possibly Drumstick? Or no?

As a note, next week I'm gonna be on vacation, so it will be difficult for me to check in on all the sites, so if you end up deciding a rep in that time and want them to start getting prepared, they can register on Mafia Universe or contact me via Discord: Thingyman#6075. I will then send them all the information they need.

There's a bit of history to it. They were at http://sonm.uk/ (which has an archive) but we recently merged. OrangeRakoon was the admin of that community (now part of our staff; Green Gecko is our admin).

Thanks for all the hard work you're doing organising this, it looks like it'll be great fun. I'm sure we'll be able to find a rep (and hopefully one each from both of our communities if you think that's permissible!).

For now I've noted down GRCade as definitely participating, and I have SONM as a maybe, since it seems that's not 100% sure yet?

As a reminder, deadline is April 26, but the sooner, the better for me, since it allows me more time with your representatives to get them prepared

Just popping in to give you the 10-day warning and a reminder that the final deadline is April 26.

The very first qualifier starts April 29. And the last one starts June 17.

I'm very excited about this season! When your representative gets slotted into a game, I'll return with more information on when they're playing and how you can spectate them along with a thousand other people from all the other sites.

Ah, it seems DarkRula is the man for GRCade, at least? I'll send him the info then

And I'll check in to see if a rep for SONM is decided.
