It's been over a year, but a new AYA... game is here. This time, I'll be your host, taking you on a wonderful journey to a GRcade meet-up gone wrong.
The Setup A new GRcade meet is underway, and this was set to be the grandest of all meets. Forumites prepared for a two week holiday touring Wales, heading to places both recognised and obscure. The confirmations in, the planning and bookings fully sorted, the journey got underway. For the first week, the meet looked to be a success. Everyone was enjoying themselves with no problems occurring (aside from an argument at a hotel in Llandovery on how to spell larger, but everyone agreed not to talk about that), with plans already being discussed of doing a tour next year.
The start of the second week sees the group at the small village within Elan Valley, ready to tackle another day sightseeing before moving on. But there's a problem. One of the group failed to show up at the predetermined meeting point, and for some reason all the vehicles refuse to start. Hoping that nothing serious is about to befall them, the group decide to try to continue enjoying themselves while waiting for the roadside assistance from several automotive insurers to arrive. Unfortunately for them, some of the group are hitmen in disguise, who have now activated signal jammers to avoid any serious help from arriving. Now, they need to work together to take out the rest of the GRcade group. Unfortunately, some locals - retired bodyguards - have agreed to keep an eye out for any other goings-on to protect the GRcade group. But that doesn't stop paranoia from taking hold.
The Planning For every seven players who sign-up, one will be a bodyguard, with two being hitmen. The two bodyguards will have three one-shot abilities. Among the hitmen is a veteran hitman who also has three one-shot abilities.
Bodyguard Abilities -Stone Cole Vigil: Keep watch over one player for anyone that targets them. No protection offered for that target during night kill. -Suspicious Eye: Watches one player from afar to see what actions they might take. -Sacrificial Watch: Targets a player to watch over. If attacked during the night, you will protect them but be taken out yourself.
Veteran Hitman Abilities: -Stealth Guard: Protects a fellow hitman from death while taking out one of those who had targeted them (Day Ability) -Silent Assassin: Rig the votes by using the secret word when placing a vote. That player is then taken out. (Day Ability) -Stare of the Night: Take a watchful vigilance on those from one of that day's wagons for any night actions that occur.
The aim of the game for town (GRcade members + bodyguards) is to wipe out all the hitmen. The hitmen will win if their numbers match the remaining town players. Only hitmen will be allowed private communication. The day/night cycle will be 12 hours each. 11:00 will start the day, with 23:00 ending the day and beginning the night.
Sign-ups will last until 23:00 on the 5th of August. The game will begin on the 7th August.

I felt it wise to give everything now so people know what they're getting into. Y'know, what with the GR meet-up that turns into a murder spree.

Everyone will get a PM detailing their role and the start time of the game, along with a second PM reminding them that the game has started if they haven't posted in thread six hours after the game begins.
