Well, at least if the kill is at Swanage Beach, we'll bag a Hitman.

I have a feeling O Caruso is a hitman.

He posted a very helpful post pointing out very suspicious activity. Of course, as a hitman, he knows who is and isn't innocent so he's more than happy to point out a villager going to the wrong location, or suggesting that Ingram is statistically likely as he was in 2 death locations.

He came in early and claimed The Beach. Obviously everyone wants cards but the Hitmen really want them. He warns everyone else from going there under the pretext of "making sure the beach stays open" but really all this does is concentrate all our players among 2 other locations giving great coverage for his killing teammate. They'll close a location soon enough, they don't need to focus on narrowing them down too much at this stage, especially if you can de facto shut the location down by going there first and claiming anyone who follows you is suspicious.

He was also in the group who had the second killing.

Well this didn't go well... yet again.

100% not buying ghostly Gonif's "oh I'm playing badly oops" nonsense either. He targeted Swanage Beach knowing full well the rules and only walked it back under pressure from the thread.

Hitmen are going to start creating new conspiracy theories now we've killed off the former suspects. (Sorry about that, Vetrova, Ingram and Sturrock. :fp:

Look dude. I'm the only one getting in the spirit here. My character has a backstory. He has a drinking problem. He's a layabout good for nuthin. He's illegitimate son of K.Klein. and you have the tenacity to call me a dafty? I've put my heart and soul into this game.
I realise I'm a 50% suspect for a lynching but it'd be a right shame to die now when I've got such potential. Sure sure I'm going through a bad patch right now, it's hard to stay off the wagon, but once we catch these damn hit men, I'll turn over a new leaf. Also thus far I've not been anywhere a kill has occurred. Other than that we both look as guilty as each other as we have both fingerered innocents.

So the most likely outcome is that you actually are a villager too and the hitmen are tripping over themselves laughing at how we're doing their work for them. :lol:

This small green area known as Days Park was lined with trees, splitting it into four sections. The area that was really known as Days Park, then the other areas that made up the patrol area. The Football Club, the Cricket Club, and the field to the east of both. The trees weren't bunched up enough to hide any misdoing, so he felt the kill would have to be made indoors.

While patrolling the field to the East, he noticed a car park through the trees. If he remembered right, there were toilets at that car park. One thing he had noticed is that people were starting to get mistrustful of everyone else. It was making the challenge of killing everyone in this group meant to root them out even more fun. But if he wanted to make a kill at the toilet, he needed someone to come with him.

After a few hours, he felt he could make his move. Positioning himself close to the car park, he waited for someone else to come near. The first person he tried calling refused to come near. Starting to act a little more desperate, making quick looks to the car park and back to the field, his appeal finally caught the attention of someone.

"You're looking a little in need of something," G.Vholes said.

"The toilet is just over there, but if the killer is out there, I'm easy pickings." Said in a normal if slightly panicky voice. He didn't want to push away the only help he might get by seeming too desperate or pleading too much.

"I'll keep watch from-"

Before Vholes could finish, he grabbed the hand of Vholes and dragged him across the car park, saying "Thank you! Thank you!"

"Wait! I was only going to watch from the edge!" Vholes cried. "Stop dragging me!"

They were now outside the toilet, but he didn't let go of Vholes' hand. Testing the door, he was happy to find it open. Turning to Vholes, he smiled a satisfied grin. Before Vholes could shout having realised who he was with, he had grabbed Vholes' shoulder and shoved them through the door.

"I'll shout as loud as I-"

That was all Vholes managed before his head was slammed into the back wall. Slamming the door shut behind him with his foot, he continued the assault of Vholes by slamming that head against anything he could force it to. Walls, toilet seat, sink... all had been impacted by the head of Vholes many times over.

Looking at his handywork, the face was a mushed up pulp. But somehow, Vholes was still making small movements as though trying to attack back but being unsure how. Easy to command around, then. Placing the head over the toilet seat with the neck resting on it, he slammed the seat cover down hard and fast, many times over.

The body had become limp now. He was certain Vholes was dead, but to absolutely be sure... The foldaway knife he carried was hidden inside a flashlight. It took a while to cut at the neck of Vholes, but the plop as the head dropped into the basin was satisfying.

Putting the knife away, he checked over himself, washed his hands, and looked outside to see if anyone were close by. He smiled as he left, making sure the door was fully closed, at a job done well.

G.Vholes has been eliminated. They were a Citizen of Swanage.

Damn. RIP Vholesy. So the day one list was just an innocent mistake and the hitmen jumped on it.

I kept an eye out but didn't personally witness any shenanigans. I can only assume I was spared by the killers on account of my charm and good looks.
