Was trying to get the speedrun time on all of them at one point which was quite a fun challenge. Some of them were much more geared up for that kind of approach than others!

I got the WR on jawa's when I played it... but that was last sunday night

Is cheeky playing the levels again before revealing the results? Could be prime speedrunning time!

Yeah I'll be playing through them again before revealing the results!

Just a reminder to those who haven't yet submitted their votes, you have until 8pm tomorrow night to get them into me.

If you do not submit your votes then you will score 0 for the week!

I've sent out a PM to those who are yet to vote.

Some really good levels this week - I based my votes on Devlin playing this week but will be playing all the levels myself from this week!

I'm hoping to be there but might not be able to. Will a video of the stream be posted afterwards?

Mario Maker and Animal Crossing is quite the juggling act. :dread:

Looking forward to seeing how everyone voted, however.

It is, but people have their reasons and ultimately it's not something I can enforce anyway.

Week 2 Guidelines

Mushroom Group

Super Mario Maker 2 introduced two brand new games that you can base your levels on.

Super Mario 3D World was an astonishingly good game on the Wii U with some unique elements that have been added into Super Mario Maker 2, along with some all new features exclusive to the level designer.

Your task this week is to make a level that revolves around the unique features of the Super Mario 3D World game type.

I'm looking for out of the screen Bullet Bills, Cat Mario, Koopa Cars, Bell Trees and anything else you can think of.

There are no explicit restrictions here, just that your level must prominently feature these 3D World exclusive features.

You have until 8pm Sunday 29th of March to submit your levels to me by PM.
- Do not post the level in the thread, or on the level database. I will post to the thread once the 8pm deadline has passed and I am ready to release them.
- Your PM should include the name of the level and the code.

Good luck!

Super Mario Maker 2 introduced two brand new games that you can base your levels on.

Added as DLC, The Master Sword item (For the Super Mario Bros tileset) allows you to create levels with a Legend of Zelda theme and abilities unique to Link.

Your task this week is to make a level that revolves around the unique features of the Zelda theme.

You can make something that mimics a deep dungeon dive, or something completely unique. It's up to you!

Bear in mind that you should design the level so that the player HAS to be Link in order to complete it.

Again, there are no explicit restrictions here, just that the level must prominently feature these Zelda exclusive features.

I haven't been checking, but I know that not everyone is always able to play them.

So that's always a little disappointing, but like I said people have their reasons and I'm not going to penalise people for that.

Haven't made a 3D World level in too long - although just before the competition started, I was working on something in that style.

Really quite chuffed about this week's theme, as I haven't used the catsuit in any creations whatsoever. The only element I think could be hard to accommodate is the koopa car, but I'm willing to give that a crack also.

Good luck guys. :toot:

Just to clarify that you don't need to use ALL the elements I mentioned. They're just suggestions. :D

I've not played with the Zelda stuff yet, so I'm looking forward to it! Does anyone have a quick summary of the Link suit abilities?
