If there is a quicker route, I can't see it!

I need to get on and play all of the levels properly ASAP. Still can't get over how excellent all the efforts looked on the stream last time!

Also I only noticed when I booted this up for the first time last night that I somehow managed to disable comments on my levels at some point since the last round! :fp:

I noticed that!

I wish the comments system as a whole was just done better. I find it a bit awkward that you can only comment mid-level or on completion - I keep thinking to comment only after finishing the level and getting back to the menu, and at that point it's too late! It'd be nice if you could reply to comments too, or even just like them when someone has drawn something neat or whatever.

Still, this is Nintendo so I should probably be happy with the comment system existing at all

I feel the same in terms of commenting, limiting the overall comment to only being allowed at the point you finish the level is very frustrating in particular. It's one of the reasons why I've not been doing as many doodles on levels recently - I wanted the time to come back and do them at my leisure but that isn't an option!

Played through all the levels a few times now and am now trying to rank them, it's not easy!

One thing that was interesting is that I think this is the first week where my views have changed most between watching the stream and playing the levels. Normally I can tell which ones I will prefer from watching the stream but this week I found this wasn't necessarily the case!

Had a couple play throughs of all of them. I think they're pretty much equal in terms of objective quality, I think everyone really pushed themselves this week. I did end up deciding on a ranking but it wasn't easy!

I need to go back and watch the stream properly, but I caught a look at the results at the end and just wanted to say how well-deserved it was for OrangeRKN and Jenuall.

Was a pleasure to take part in this competition and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the levels in the finals!

I'm very happy to have made the finals, any of those levels would have deserved a place! Cyborg has been incredibly consistent across the competition, and all through the groups it felt like there was nothing between Karl and myself, so it was undoubtedly close!

Good luck Jen, I'll definitely be putting it all into the final four levels!

One question on the guidelines - should each of the four levels be a different theme from the competition, and is that including any theme (even the ones from the other group)?

I'll be posting the guidelines officially tomorrow, but basically you need to choose four guidelines and make 4 levels. You can choose any theme from either group.

Been looking back over the guidelines and trying to pick a nice set for my 4 levels, so hard to know whether to explore something new from the Flower group or go back and further explore one from the Mushroom group again!

Oooh, very nice ways to skip bits of the puzzles there!

I'm really excited to check out the worlds you're both putting together - I legit think it's going to be the highlight of my weekend on Sunday night.

...No pressure! ;)

Nicely done OR! :toot:

I'm excited about making a world, it will be the first time I've dabbled with that side of things! I haven't had a chance to start on my levels yet but I think I've chosen which guidelines to go for and have a few ideas ready

I think I also have my guidelines chosen, been forging ahead on some of the ideas already! I definitely appreciate having two weeks for them though!

The deadline is a week on Sunday right, not this Sunday?

Oh no! My weekend is ruined! ;)

I'll look forward to it next week instead! :toot:

(In retrospect four levels in one week would have been very hard but that didn't occur to me! )

Does anyone have an entry level kaizo level they could recommend?
