Looking forward to playing these later. There is one especially that I loved watching so want to get my hands on it

My abandoned level - it was a close representation of smk choco lake. Had shortcuts, laps to complete and a blue shell that would catch up to you if you took too long. I also synced the laps up so the double speed timer warning would start on the final lap if you were doing it right. It looked good, just took too long to play and wasn't that fun really.

All done. OldSoulCyborg that extra challenge took me a while to get.
Orange, I can’t work out your key challenge. Will keep at it.

The two doors just link to each other! I just thought it looked better as it makes it look like a building with Mario sneaking in through the chimney because the doors are locked. There is a secret little bit to the left of bowser, but you just have to damage boost through to it, not use the doors!

I've just got Rula's level left to finish. So far my speedrun attempts have been going into Qikz's - it's another good one for it! I might struggle to set a good time on Karl's as my high spring jumps are very inconsistent. I set the record on cyborg's at something like 7 minutes as the first clear because I couldn't work out the final challenge :lol:

Do you just have to be quick falling down the doughnut blocks to grab the pow block in the middle so you can kill both munchers on screen? I managed to grab it but kept slipping through the one way arrow.

Did you find you can run across the top of the tunnels at least?

I couldn't make the doors lead anywhere because the train ride extends the full length of the sub-level, which already feels pretty short when you autoscroll it! (And autoscroll is the only way of ensuring the train fits together correctly as each track spawns in - I'll try and share a screenshot from the editor if I can remember!)

I did

It'd be cool after the competition finishes to share a few editor screenshots of our levels, to show how some of the off screen stuff works.

The final sign is just supposed to be pointing towards the building. (Originally I had a train platform outside the building too and the sign was at the end of that, but when adding in the second tunnel the number of overlapping semi-solid objects meant it had to be deleted.)

No word of a lie, Orange’s level is very similar to what I was trying to create but couldn’t get it to work so went with my second idea.

It was designed to go on a lot longer but I didn’t realise there was a block limitation. I hope people notice that when a line is formed it’s taken out like in the real Tetris.

Yeah I played it without picking up any of the blocks as you suggested, I hadn't noticed that on the stream! Is there a reason it wouldn't work in SMB style? As you can't pick up blocks in that.

My guess as to Rubix's level was that it would be a guitar hero style rhythm game, so I was way off. Minor credit for it being a mini-game based on another game maybe? :lol:
