Well, keep it up, I guess. It's a lot of fun wandering the countryside or cities, or even beaches and then somehow doing the dirty without the subject being brought up.

I can give the competition a bash. Be fun to get into making some courses and seeing someone play them.

Last night's Mario Maker test stream reminded me of a previous transgression: my failure to complete Karl's One Screen Wonder level from last year! :fp:

Just kidding. I'm kinda a bit embarrassed of that level but I'm glad you managed to finish it! :lol:

I think the core concept is great and the challenges it presents are really clever, it just has a few too many harsh edges and opportunities to punish the player that feel slightly too far into unfair territory!

Yeah it was just a quick try out to make sure my setup was working - I just played back over a few of the courses from last year (including doing your world in full!), the VoD is still on my twitch channel if you want to check it out!

Aim is to do another on Sunday night after sign ups close before we head into the competition proper! :toot:

Just got to the end of my world! Banzai pass wasn't too bad there at least :lol:

I was disappointed with my own performance in Banzai Pass, I thought I would struggle with the later areas more but spent most of my time just trying to get to them! :fp:

I'm definitely keen to throw some more light onto the speedrun side of things during the course of this as that's a fun area of additional competition we could encourage.

Cheers Aaron, will be great to have as many people following along as possible!

Plan is to stream each Sunday evening on the GR channel following the same pattern as Devlin used last time - week 1 playing the new set of level submissions, week 2 replaying them followed by revealing the results for that week.

If I get the chance I might jump on at points during the week for some extra streams as well, maybe looking at trying to speedrun the levels or just generally having a play about.
