Oddly enough it was my old sixth form college in b’ton, usual artist/maker affair, hall hired by a local events company. Stall cost half that though. It's a tough gig. Better than the fancy firms that charge literally hundreds or even thousands of pounds for space at an "art fair" though. Blood sucking wankers.

That kind of thing can be critically hit and miss if it isn't promoter properly. Presumably, this one was. I will probably get some enquiries towards Xmas too. Half of this sort of thing is after sales, so you have to treat it as marketing as much as sales.

All of these things have competitive selections which can be pretty gruelling. And then you have the opportunity to pay for it...
