Presumably the seer is sending out his results to everyone that's in this network, so if someone comes back as a villager the wolves will just ignore him and try some others they suspect. If someone comes back as a special then they get wolfed quick sharpish or the alpha stockpiles a bunch of specials and then they're killed in blocks.

"Ah but it'll look suspicious if a special gets wolfed after being seered"

You're right, it will look suspicious. But if you're the seer what can you actually do about it? You could find a vigilante but then who do you shoot? If you come into the thread you've got to reveal yourself as a seer, convince everyone that you're not mad and then we've got a list of names to work through for lynching. Granted, the wolves aren't going to pick the seer off but that's going to be multiple opportunities for the wolves and some useful idiots to convince us that the seer is talking out of his arse and we should move on.

It's an interesting theory but seers are far and away the biggest danger to the wolves. In practice it would surely be better to take them out as soon as possible?

Haven't decided where to vote today. Would it be completely mad just to go with Dblock and see what happens? :slol:

Looking through Songwriters posts to try and see if hes connected to anything. He was very inactive so it didnt take long - Hiding among inactives? Its mainly nothing/jokey posts.

Here is a post that unites all 3 of DMLs lynch candidate picks from yesterday. Coincidence?

Songwriter wrote:I like the idea of putting Staydead and Dblock in a cell. Alone. Overnight.

But getting back to the game - ianf for me. Randoms potshots ahoy ahoy.

The 4th name in that post is Dblock.

I was thinking about DBlock earlier, and whether he could be a wolf hiding out in the open like that. He's certainly never been considered for lynching.

I think that strategy could be intellectually beyond him though.

I can believe Lewis is in contact with a seer since he tried to lynch me several times at the start of the game before getting evidence that I was innocent.

I'm more unsure about Nun but doubt he'll be lynched against Lewis and it'll be interesting to see if Qikz can survive a third lynch vote.

Remember that time I was a vigilante and shot the alpha uber seer guy? :slol:

I just remembered and laughed.

Anyway Ive been given no special rolls since then so will swing my vote behind the majority with tap.

Re: Dblock, he has been behaving differently here than in other threads. He just makes his daily one or two "I see things", "Parksey and Zellery are wolves, vote me for Mayor" posts that get ignored by everyone and then he leaves again. That's it, no rage fits, no arguments, no name calling.

His heart doesn't really seem to be in it. But what to make of that...

What do you usually have in your special rolls?

I think I'd like to see the Nun loop closed. The main problem with TAP's mega post is that it's awfully similar to Dan.'s about FE and that didn't turn out that well. Yaoi was lynched based on his general behaviour as well and that was also a mistake!

Having said all that, I've no idea why Shadow is nominating Qikz again!

And although tempting I can't seriously bring myself to vote for the madness of Dblock.

I nominated Qikz because I think it's suss that he survived two votes. Feels like he's either a wolf, or the wolves want to keep him in the game. My platform is based on the open thread of Yaoi saying that we should lynch Nun, and Nun making a really weak defence of that, we need to chase that up. I then have to put someone as a secondary in case Nun squeaks free, if my theory that the wolves have saved Qikz is right then putting him in there puts them between a rock and a hard place (Unless they're both villagers).

I did say that someone else should run on a platform based on the Day 2 voting list. Someone should do that.

Not sure about LewisD but he is more likely to be a wolf than Qikz

Had a chat with Garf at ~7.00pm and we managed to work out neither of us were wolves but it was a bit late to actually do anything lol

Missed the lynch vote but this right here is suss. Why wouldn't Yaoi tell us if he/she didn't want us to follow up n you. You both claimed the other was playing unusually and that one f you is likely a wolf, Yaoi's been proved innocent.

I also think this is rather a lucky coincidence..

Whilst I can’t really speak for Yaoi/Garf on this, he was heading out yesterday evening with a few friends which he did post about over here which cut our conversation short and also mean’t he wasn’t around at the time of the deadline to make a final post or anything similar. I was sort of banking on the village lynching Qikz for being annoying so we could call a truce the day after. But tbh I know this looks as suspicious as strawberry float so I can see exactly where you’re coming from, my only hope is that you can see that i’d have to be a pretty ballsy as strawberry float wolf to push a lynch on someone consistently from the start of the game in the knowledge they’d flip villager. Especially after Riksilver was killed for checking PMs of all things. I’ll go have a look for some chatango chat logs to see if I can find anything better now if you’d like further proof.

And also the chatlogs from chatango where we were discussing whether it was worth trying to change the lynch. The usernames are our SONM usernames so i'm Nintendo Ninja (don't ask why) and Yaoi is Garf...
NintendoNinja1: well that's boring
garfield0: indeed, not a big fan of their kind of mafia tbh
NintendoNinja1: I thought it'd be fun if I ran till I got you lynched and then if you flipped mafian it's look amazing
garfield0: i told you it was an essay man
garfield0: i told you
NintendoNinja1: I could make a suspicious as strawberry float post and say Yaoi might not actually be evil
NintendoNinja1: In order to seal my fate
garfield0: bit late now
NintendoNinja1: there's an hour or so
garfield0: till 9
garfield0: I'm gonna be gone after 7 so you can't say anything then
garfield0: well i cant follow up after then
NintendoNinja1: 8 is the deadline for lynches I think
NintendoNinja1: Just not actually announced till 9
NintendoNinja1: Want to try and save you?
NintendoNinja1: I don't mind making a suspicious as strawberry float post and then going to ground and playing monster hunter for the rest of the week
garfield0: nah
garfield0: I had my fun anyway

Today is the day!

Slightly concerned by the activity in the thread. I don't mind people disagreeing, but simply not being around gives the wolves the perfect chance to control the votes now that we're back to the regular system! We can't let that happen!

PCCD wrote:Just a thought on this seer network. I assuming that when the alpha is seered he comes back as a villager with this.

If someone comes back as a special then they get wolfed quick sharpish or the alpha stockpiles a bunch of specials and then they're killed in blocks.

Without any protection circle, the seer naturally has to trust villagers at some point. It would be entirely possible an alpha would get in the circle, and since they're then free of suspicion due to being in the group and the seer surviving, they're free to gather intel and then kill people off in a seemingly random fashion as needed. If he's in the group long enough, it will seem like the leak was more recent or just random.

Anyway, Lewis has made no attempt to really explain his seer network. Are we to believe that they trusted him simply because he lynched one of our best players on the first day? Apparently no other random villagers want to speak out in his defence either, so the network remains eerily silent. Almost like it doesn't even exist.

Also I originally counted 0 posts for Songwriter, not sure how, but yeah..... Oh yeah he was originally on the front page list twice so it is twice as likely he has a role :shifty:

Looking at Zartans post list from friday night, Ive copied it into excel and ordered it by post count. And added some super happy fun colours.

Ive separated it into 4 different bands. The very high, the high, the medium and the very low. If we're doing an alpha hunt I would have said that he would be in the high band. Although I agree Lewis has done alot of nothing posts, hes posted a hell of a lot.

I'm in a position where I have no idea who to vote for. I have similar amounts of suspicions pointing at both you TAP which I've mentioned before, although most of that could come down to the fact that rather than discussing things in the thread you were discussing them outside of the game (which imo needs to change as for me it's been the biggest issue with games on this forum) and I have a similar problem with Lewis.

The issue arises in the fact I learnt about the existance of a seer circle forming from Pacman a few days before he died. I understand it is possible that Lewis is the Alpha, I feel uncomfortable voting for you incase it turns out that you're wrong as I've already made enough bad decisions this game to not want to make another. I suppose if Lewis is willing to throw himself under a bus to prove himself innocent then there's no reason not to vote for you, but I worry it could lead to another dead end or another case of revenge killing.

I just find it incredibly weird that you've gone for most of the game not really saying anything useful to suddenly appearing with this master plan. All I can really do in this case is hope that I can trust you and vote you in, although at this point I'm not sure my vote is going to count for anything other than me voting for the sake of it.

I'm going on record to say all of these choices are dildos.

Qikz is just there because Qikz.
Nun is the most suspicious but I understand where he's coming from.
Edd raises a solid point about Lewis which leads me to side with him knowing a seer: he was pushing an Edd lynch pretty hard then suddenly stopped. There are few reasons beyond a seer telling him to lay off.

But I'm not voting this time because I'm under the impression every candidate is wrong.
