Rik would be the starting point as Kanbei was in both votes. If he's a wolf then I say anyone would voted for the first time for Pacman is a suspect. Vote changers are more likely to be villagers swayed by the discussion.

I initially voted for Pancake for Mayor who was proposing Kanbei and jiggles for lynching - but then swapped to Pacman for Mayor because I thought stating a rule which wasn't in the original post was a bit dodgy. I've not played previous games so if it's just a standard thing that's played every time then I think I might vote for Kanbei for the lynching.

But now I'm also suspicious people defending Tomous could be other wolves defending one of their own

If the people defending Tomous were all wolves than we'd be pretty gooseberry fool at this game.

Worst case scenarios: If Tomous turns out to be a villager we learn something and can look at the vote changers. If Kanbei turns out to be a villager what do we learn? Where do we go from there?

I'd say that's a better reason to go on than someone stating a commonly known rule then being called a wolf.

It's still weak evidence and a valid reason why the active users page was disabled for the game, if he does anything else suspicious though then we should lynch him.

And putting up Tomous for stating a rule isn't a weak decision? My point was that Mini E's platform, although weak, was the less weak of the two.

I don't really understand why so many people suddenly jumped on Tomous and voted for him.

All the evidence is weak. Tomous "slipped up", Rik was looking at PMs. I wouldn't say one of those was a weaker position than the other, they are both weak.

The only choice we have is to either jump on little things like above, or we just hang inactives/randoms.

Given how many people are defending him I can't be sure on Tomous. On the one hand it could be wolves defending their own, but that's a hell of a risk to take that could expose a lot of people very early on.

Given how close the mayoral vote was, if I was a wolf, it wouldn’t have been very difficult to save me from the lynch-a few votes would have swung it back.

People are defending me because it's pretty clear it was just a poor choice of words. If I'd said it on Day 0 before any kills, I could understand how dodgy it would have looked, but I said it after there had been 3 wolf kills, and they'd all been inactive posters-the general consensus had agreed that the rule must be in place.

As I stated when changing my vote, I'll be lynching Tomous. I don't think the case against him is particularly strong, but I would rather go on a weak case than on picking a random name from a possible 60-odd.

I don't know who to vote for in this case. I don't think Tomous is a wolf, and I think his "slip" was purely based on previous games. I guess I'll vote for Kanbei then but I only put him up by the toss of a coin because Pancake was considering him or Jiggles!

Reading back it does look like Toumous inadvertently slipped up there. It could just as easily have been innocent of course. Either way - at this early stage it's usually enough to condemn anyone who puts their head above the parapet.

Just to recap:

I think the problem is that all the leads we have right now are shite. Personally I still don't really get why Kanbei was nominated so much, would've preferred to be lynching rik right now. But even then it's hardly the most damning of evidence we have against him.

I don't think Kanbei is a wolf either. He's just not playing and I think someone mentioned he's usually an active participant.

I think there's potentially more evidence against Rik in that there was a big vote swing towards me when arguably both arguments were just as weak as each other. Some were vote changers and knee jerk reactions, but it would have given the wolves an opportunity to swing the vote away from him if he was a wolf. Unfortunately for me, you'll probably look into this after you've killed me

That's the problem. We have no real leads at all right now. It means that no matter who we lynch there's a good to fair chance they're innocent.
Kanbei is as suspicious as Tomous, who's as suspicious as Rik. Which is to say, not very suspicious at all. We're just clutching at whatever we have and hoping to get lucky.

Like i said - at the early stage of the game - anything even slightly suspicious is always immediately leapt upon.

I voted kanbie since he doesn't seem to be playing, but I don't think you're going to make it, Tomous...
