Your play to come out in the open wreaked of wolf (or a chaotic, but I discounted that as it would have happened earlier in the game) but not Alpha, as that would have been madness. I think the performance by The Village was pretty poor throughout but we got played well and truly.

Despite not openly claiming wolf, I wasn't particularly trying hard to hide it!

I genuinely would have done the same thing as Alpha, if the same route to victory presented itself. Ultimately, I made my big move to protect Orange. Going from two attacks down to to one, less a day of mourning felt like a guaranteed loss, but the numbers seemed to be there to pull off the gamble.

Funnily enough, we were originally going to go for Law 12, which would have made us twice as powerful. Somebody (Cora?) mentioned number 12 four times. But we got worried that they may have known it was something that would help the town. An attempt at the numbers from that:

We'd have gone up to 4 attacks per day, with Orange and Tomous holding a bullet each, whilst the three of us were unlynchable.

That would have provided us with 6 attacks against 13 players (two died on the first day of my Mayorship due to draw the day before). We wouldn't have allowed democracy to end, but used our wolf attacks and stockpiled guns. For ease, lets say we killed Ob Bob and Pancake who we knew had 1hp and took the player base to 11, keeping back 4 shots.

Next day, the town would have no choice but to lynch one of their own and could take one shot, which would likely injure Orange. We would have 4 more attacks (8) to use against the remaining 10 players, needing to take the player base down to 5 to win on the vote in the final day.

At this point l, we'd kill Nun & Cutty, the other two players we'd taken to 1hp and double tap 3 other players with the remaining 6 attacks available to guarantee 5 players for the final vote.

So I believe, we'd have won the game if we activated gamechanger 12. The others would have been considerably less favourable!

Haha, newborns are a lot of work, but they do sleep sometimes! I was part hiding, part genuine baby stuff. Excel was genuinely ditched because of baby.

My gamechanger 12 calculations are also wrong, as I held back two wolf attacks from the first day, which cant be done. I'd need to rethink on that basis. We'd have needed to spread those on the unknown hp players on the first day and therefore not needed to double tap on the second. I think it would still have been achievable.

Also, I'm assuming twice as powerful = double the attacks. The attacks themselves could have been changed to 2hp, which would need a whole new set of calculations.

Yeah, but it's not what role you had it was what happened after that. It wasn't just a role claim and ah-ha that persons a liar they're a wolf.

The point was nobody would know what roles the other people had, so nobody would've been certain that every single player had the same role. Which meant moving forward we could bluff in the thread to throw off the wolves by actually planning and working on something. DML posting the role PM in the thread completely stopped everything I had planned for after that day and it also made me look like the asshole who spoiled everyones fun. Sadly it just turned out the role I gave everyone was a seer which meant in this game it became useless. I thought it was going to be a more interesting role we could work with. Amnesiac wouldn't have helped the wolves at all, but it could have helped us. I don't see how anyone could possibly say that logically choosing A would give everyone the role Seer.

The problem was it created a major game conflict that had to be addressed as it broke seering. Also I was talking directly to the wolves, they werent falling for it. Why lie?

Also, what a boring ass approach. Winning is not everything. You (qikz/Nun) chose the chance of slightly improving your chance of winning, over the enjoyment of every other live player at that point. (slow clap)

Despite the fact you were heavily involved in the game up to that point, and part of the super secret club, which keeps the majority of players in the dark, when given the opportunity you willingly chose to make the game less interesting for the majority of people still playing, just to slightly increase your chance to win.

You can moan as much as you want over end game rules/game changers spoiling etc, but you really shouldn't.

SMH.

Don't know why you've called me out here. I wasn't in any PM circles all game and wasn't involved in that particular decision regarding role distribution but sorry if you feel I ruined your enjoyment of the game!

Not wanting to stir the pot, but Vermi and Qikz was the first kill request which I sent on behalf of the wolves. :slol: Not planned though, just that Orange was busy that evening!

I was genuinely impressed by how many players were on a plane or in an airport waiting for a connecting flight during this game. We've become real high powered jetsetters here at GRcade over the last decade.

Qikz, Vermilion, Sprouty, you are the Twilight Rangers, a team of thieves who have gained powers from the Morphin Grid. As a team, you must survive against the forces of darkness while evading capture by the Daybreak Rangers. You win as long as at least one of your team is alive and all Jewels of Time have been collected at game end.

Not at all, it’s just you were the first person to state that they should pick all the same role as a strategy.

I’m sorry if you feel I was blaming you.

I was actually abroad.

I was literally sitting in the Moulin Rouge*, on a €200 ticket and drinking champagne, messaging Qikz and Zilnad on my phone and talking about being a Priest with protective powers.

Rather than making me sound impressive, it instead makes me look like I was having a complete and utter breakdown.

*Still wasn't as sexy as that PM Ob Blob sent me though.
