Pretty much everything they posted today was wrong, it was very funny to watch.

For what it's worth the key moment was Ob, Hexx, and me (mostly those two) choosing not to infect the hackers yesterday, preferring to target a group of people that we thought most likely to have other powers, this nabbing both Karl and FatDaz.

Think I played that flawlessly tbh.

So I should probably explain this...

At that point, Albear wasn't a confirmed infected or anything. Just a hunch. I was being very cautious with my power up 'til then (after seeing what happened to Denster :dread: ). But a load of extra work cropped up unexpectedly, so I figured I'd have a go and either achieve something useful (alleviating my guilt over going inactive) or die (so I could go inactive without it mattering).

Basically I wasn't really sure about it & the only reason I had the balls to have a go is that my boss gave me extra work. :slol:

I had a bit of a change of plans this afternoon and I now actually have to exit the game as quickly as possible -- I won't be able to follow along with it from tomorrow onwards.

So I'm going to take a punt on Albear, because why not? :toot:

I doubt he's really infected / the alpha but at least it'll be funny.

Karl

My favourite moment was watching the confusion over where the humans power from the sacrifice went play out in the thread, being brought back to life and then finding out the infected had got their hands on it

It was both amazing and gutting and then amazing again to gain a power, not have time to use it as I was infected and finally to immediately betray the team I was previously on by bringing back Tomous!

My other highlight was from somebody who was annoyed at getting infected. This PM made me laugh for a long long time!

Problem is people dont want to have their post style change when / if they are infected so they dont post.

Instead, they stay quite and do the bare minimum hoping "someone else" will do something.

In this case Errk made a case for an area of investigation, he was trumped by someone saying "get that person right there" which allowed people to jump on it, once a few do many do as it will help them down the line as "well everyone voted to kill the innocent". (Never mind how they've done a complete 180 on killing Drummy for info)

It is bollocks as it is everyone playing their own game rather than trying to actually win for everyone. Selfish aggravating banana splits.

I owe you one ;)

I was hoping Moggy wouldn't reveal I was a life again but he did.

And then he decided to tell everyone I had lost my power too. Moggy :x

You were way better at identifying infected than anyone else :D

We just didn't trust you and thought you might be a trap - until today when Qikz confirmed it

I can understand that I guess. When you told me you weren't infected I did believe you but when you said nothing after Qikz revealed my role I did doubt the veracity of that claim.

So my role was the prophet. As I said before if I was infected I became the messiah and could have resurrected any dead player (they would lose any role they had other than infected/not infected).

I first reached out on day 3 to Hexx as I thought he was potentially the alpha based on Moggy saying to look at the alpha-bet and his role was a linguist. He was very disruptive as well. Then once Tomous was pretty much outed I spoke to him as well.

Qikz and Nun both pm'd asking about the role as well but I lied and told them all I could do was detect punishers due to "divine messages".

Finally tomous pmd me today asking me to run for leader so that if I won I could punt a human out the door. I'd assumed the game would end at the infection phase and I'd get my reward (Sweet, sweet infection). Bastards. Not that it mattered anyway as I'd still have swung it for them.

Good role but I think it needs to be tweaked if it's being used again. As I said to Moggy in my pm's apologising for being a bit inactive, the fun is in being "out and proud" in the thread on the side of the infected so we can't really use it again as it is because they'll be immediately identified and taken out.

That was really great.

We had a plan that I loved the sound of; to ensure a mayorship today by having me - a confirmed infected - run against someone who had flown under the radar a bit to ensure they'd win and chuck somebody under the bus to give us the win, but we never got the chance to put it into practice sadly.

We were under the impression we'd get to do our infections tonight to finish the game - you'd have been one of us if we had been able to, sorry. :(

strawberry float me. Oblomov really shouldn't have been allowed to stay alive the whole game without posting. It makes it impossible.

Well played though. I'm so sorry Kezzer.

I genuinely didn't see it - I went to see Celtic vs. Rosenborg last night so only saw what the terrible wifi let me see.

I think last night's infections pretty much put it beyond doubt - Ob picked flawlessly with FatDaz and Karl and pretty much destroyed any chance that the human team had.

Karl didn't tell us he couldn't/didn't want to play anymore.

The whole idea that Kezzer was lying just somehow made perfect sense in my head. strawberry float you Hexx.

Karl was going to shoot Hexx and from what we understood it meant the infected wouldn't have got infections that night. Him betraying us having been infected the day before just seemed to fit.

Nun, I don't care we lost. That was a great ride.

I more meant you thought Karl shot Hyperion.
