[PC] ARMA3 / Armed Assault III

I can do Saturday evening.

Slightly earlier? We all know how long arma takes.

Sat sounds good for me.

Arma3 won't load past the Apex splash screen

+ it was leaking memory like crazy ramping up from 700mb to over 3Gb for no reason when it wasn't doing anything.

I have updated drivers, validated files and launched in safe mode but nothing works ... feeling a re-install coming on...

Edit: @kill - As for times, I will most likely be on earlier so people can feel free to join. I will create an event closer to the time on steam.

I dont have any DLC if that matters.

Neither do I. Just base arma 3 game.

Ringpiece (Falsey?) The apex expansion is worth it. For the battlefield mode you might also need the marksman dlc.

Apex is defiantly worth it for the cool new island and combat style. It's a lot closer and tighter. Tanks and aircraft aren't as deadly due to the dense vegetation.

I cant afford it at the moment, so feel free to play the first bunch without me until I get the DLC.

Edit: cool thing about the updates/dlc is that you don't need them to run the game it just means you can't use the weapons/vehicles - you can still hear them and get rekt by them though.

also - went into the steam directory and launched the Arma3x64.exe as administrator and it seems to be working.

I may not be on till around 8:30pm-9:00pm which is a bit late, hopefully not too late as I have to be in work for a few hours.

I can't play today, but would definitely be up for future games.

Absolutely, a little bit of back and forth with the objectives but at least we could choose which order to do them. I might unpack the mission file and edit it a little.
