It’s gotten to the stage where I am just going to assume that all actors and politicians are sex pests.

This is just disheartening for me, as a fan of this show.

Does anyone else feel like this could impact on personal enjoyment of the show? I mean, this is one of those show that I tend to stick on if I have nothing else to watch. The thought of one of the funniest actors in it doing stuff like this doesn't sit well with me.

I don't really know how others feel about this. On a similar note, I will be gutted if the allegations against Stallone are true. I love the Rocky and Rambo films.

Hmm. I really wasn't a fan of season 4.

Whilst I'd love to get some more great episodes of AD part of me is very fearful that this is just going to sully the memory of the show further.

Not seen it yet but the Russo's have got previous with that kind of thing with Abed and the Dean from Community showing up in the previous two Captain America movies.

Awesome! I wasn't really sure if season 5 would ever happen. I haven't watched season 4 back since it first released, so I'm intrigued to see if the remix helps it at all.

Wasnt a massive fan of season 4 so Im looking forward to the remix to see if it improves. I think it was a novel approach with the all in one drop and stuff like that but the flow suffered as you had to wait until the end of each episode to see what was unfolding, iirc.

Season 4 was bad in a way I can't see being fixed by a rejig. It had an odd mean-spiritedness to the whole thing which was the polar opposite of the slapstick but heartfelt earlier seasons.

I recently rewatched seasons 1 - 3 deliberately not watch 4 as it was pretty poor.

Will be cool to see if this remix improves it.

I downloaded the fan edit remix but I still haven't actually watched it. Guess I may as well throw it out and wait for the official one :shifty:

That season 4 remix title sounds anime as hell.

Like a lot of people I didn't enjoy season 4 as much. Felt like the show had lost its heart somewhat and Michael became a dick seemingly out of nowhere, whereas before he was the moral centre in the show. Some character stories I just wasn't too interested in following, like George Snr's.

I thought the scenes where they filmed past events but with the current aged actors were bad and looked bad and they didn't need to have them in.

But above all it just wasn't as funny as previous seasons. Still above average for a sitcom, and I'm still invested in what's going to happen with the characters/the story, but yeah just not as good. Interesting experimental approach though I guess. (So I'm still going to check out Remix and Season 5 for sure).

Season 4 was ok but just ok. Nothing special really, just ok.

As long as they can improve on season 4 though, season 5 could be decent.

I couldn't finish Season 4.

I'm not willingly to try it again. Season 1 to 3 is great stuff.

Part way through the season 4 remix... not too sure about it. It feels like it is taking the piss out of itself.

And because now there aren't individual story lines, each episode has to repeat itself.

Watched the remix. I think it went some way into rebuilding the story into a more approachable and progressive setup, but it kind of highlights how flat a lot of it is. There were some laughs but it suffers for not having everybody in the same room.

Netflix Is Splitting the Next Season of Arrested Development in Half

Like Bluth company housing, the fifth season of Arrested Development will be coming to you half-finished. Per EW, Netflix has decided to release its forthcoming season of the series in two parts, with eight episodes premiering May 29, as previously announced, and another eight coming later this year.
