Don't know who the other guy (not John Beard) is, but he's cool as strawberry float.

Can't get out of news reporter mode even with a gun pulled to him, when he turns round and says "Gary where are you from?" and pulls his glasses off smooth as you like. Incredible

Something else I've noticed on my second watch through:

They've put the Facebook chat notification sound in at random points during the series, just to screw with people watching it on their computers who are also signed into Facebook.

Had no problem following the plot through this. I thought it was a great season, an extremely strong return given the time away. I guess we will be getting another season which is good news

The ending was a little flat though. The relationship between George Michael and Michael was one of the most endearing things in the first three seasons, it's a shame they felt the need to mess that about.

Best part of the season for me was Maebys episode. I totally didn't realise she was the Indian guy in the first Lindsay episode.

Tobias talking to the guy in the dealership. It's really obvious.

You mean the scene with Ed Helms? It looked fine to me. A lot of Henry Winkller's scenes are really obviously filmed elsewhere, though. The worst was in episode two when he's dressed in the Admiral's costume.

Disappointed about how little of Buster there is so far (up to episode 8). Less than 5 minutes screentime total I'd say. The GOB episode was brilliant but there's been too little of him, also.

I don't know for sure, but I honestly can't think of a time where he might have.

I think it must be one of those jokes they had planned all along.

And done.

Definately peaks during the middle - the ending (when it just sort of stops - so many plot threads are still unresolved)) feels overaught and given M/GM's relationship has been the heart of the show, missplaced.
Did I miss something or did we never find out what happened to L2? Or was it explained in some subtle way I missed
?

You might want to spoiler that?

I think they've left it open for season five. When Maeby signs over her rights to Michael and says "movies are dead... maybe it's a TV series" is a massive hint that they're planning more episodes.

Having finished my second run-through of the season earlier today, it's definitely better than I gave it credit for the first time through.

Ending
The last scene of the series when it shows Gob and he listens to the message from Tony Wonder, then hes just looking at himself in the mirror i was expecting a "I've made a huge mistake", but we got nothing

Jusnt finished Maebe's episode and think it's by far the best one. Not depressing, smart and actually starts to tie everything together.

Finished the series last night. It was good, but didn't have anything like as many laugh out loud moments as the originals had. It definitely needs a second watch through now I know what was going on, and to pick up all the extra jokes.

Ending was disappointing, just sort of finished without really offering any proper conclusions.

I don't know if the single character episode format works, as I couldn't watch all the episodes back to back, so it all felt quite fragmented. Might see if I can set aside a day for a second watch.
