I'm unsure whether this will meet your needs. It's basically the TMS lot + guests talking about cricket in general and then occasionally chirping up when a boundary is hit or a wicket falls.

-Anderson is missing the rest of the tour.
-Archer should be OK so it seems like it'll be a straight swap.
-Mark Wood has declared himself fit but hasn't played a red ball match since the start of the World Cup.
-Will Bess keep his spot, will Leach come in, or will they go with an all seam attack?

Any chatter related to that match will be helpful.

Archer is a cert if fit which I find slightly worrying as Root hasn't really worked out how to bowl him. Wood would be too much of a risk, there's no way he should go straight into a test. Maybe they should arrange a quick 3 day game in the gap and give Overton, Wood and Leach a proper run out. Bess did ok, should probably have done more on the last day but I got the impression he wasn't confident enough to tell Root to be more attacking with his field placings.

Really good article on Dominic Sibley's crucial Day 3 performance (85* (222)): http://cricviz.com/2020/01/cricviz-analysis-dom-sibley/

According to our Wicket Probability model, the average batsman would have scored 108 runs off the deliveries Sibley faced today. He didn’t even get close to that, and that shows the limitations of his scoring and of his ability to assert himself on an attack and bend them to his will. But our model also shows that, on average, a batsman facing the deliveries Sibley faced today would have been dismissed 3.5 times. And he hasn’t been dismissed once.

Seems like Wood is going to be ready for Thursday but Archer is not, so it'll be a straight swap for Anderson.

It may be by Australia, but it’s always nice to see India getting absolutely hammered.

The Leachinator (working nickname) is out of the SA series and is a doubt for the SL tour.

Would love to see some really, nail-biting, low-scoring ODIs in this series.

I've got a horrible feeling that he'll manage a half dozen overs before breaking down. Has he actually played a match in the last 6 months?

No. Apparently they've tried to find him a practice match but have been unable to secure one.

Sluggish bastard of a pitch, this. Patience needed.

Wood will be an asset unless he gets injured. Would have been excellent to have both Archer and Wood.

This looks like a pitch you could bat for days on.

Mark Steel is on the cricket social this morning. It's very heavy on the sarcasm, particularly with regards Rabada's suspension.

I don't see anything wrong with the celebration. Anyone who has played competitive sport at any level, including grass roots, knows there's niggle and mind-games in the middle of a match. I genuinely don't see the issue.

Absolute gubbins. Can’t help thinking that if he wasn’t a young black chap they wouldn’t have awarded it.

4K Test runs for Stokes!

Must be frustrating for the selectors. They have quotas they have to meet over the course of a summer (which is a whole other cauldron of conversation), and this sort of thing really can't help.

The demerit point is ridiculous.

Cricket is so easy for Stokes at the moment. Just hope Pope kicks on...
