Only one game currently being played, but it's been worth following just to see 45-year-old Darren Stevens whacking Glamorgan around the park. Currently 160 off 126 with 14 sixes.

I see that Burnsy got his first ton of the season after many unconverted 50s. Hopefully that'll give him and the selectors some confidence in his ability to open the batting again this summer.

Foakes has torn a hamstring after slipping on a sock. Yes really.

Hameed called up as replacement (along with Billings). Ludicrous stuff.

Stuart Broad has been awarded the vice-captaincy in the absence of Ben Stokes.

Our reviews will be burnt well before the end of the first session.

There should be a rule that says England can only call reviews when Root is on the field.

It's going to be a tough one. Unless England catch them cold this morning and get some quick wickets then I can see it being a long couple of days.

The only surprising thing today was who got the runs as opposed to the current score

Devon Conway looks like a beast - but I'd like to see him on a more challenging pitch.

So, which racist seamer would you pick for the full-strength squad?

My best XI is:

Burnsy
Sibley
Creepy
Rooty Tooty
Stokesy
Popey
Foakesy
Joffy
Leachy
Broady
Jimmy

Top-order backup: Bracey
Middle-order backup: Lawrence
All-rounder backup: Sam "makes things happen" Curran
Rfm backup (all important this one): Robinson, Woakesy Daisy
Rf backup: Woody

Not sure if the weather is similar in that there London to the mighty north at the moment but if it is then it'll hoop round corners. Need lots of early wickets and take advantage with the bat once the cloud burns off.

Not really sadly. Some high cloud cover.

I hope you're not telling me they're all racist Drumstick...
