I think it's because the Indian Cricket Board who sell the rights always play silly buggers and leave it to the last minute to try and get as much cash as possible. Sky don't really care for it as it's not good timings for a UK audience. I think the last overseas India test was broadcast on Channel 4 for the same reason.

Yeah, India are gonna win this regardless - our bowling line up just can't compete with theirs. Going to be fun seeing how many runs Pope can get though. It'll be nice to see him carry his bat.

Yeah, that was quite the surprise to wake up to. I think India probably bat too deep but a couple of quick wickets after tea would make it interesting.
