They seem to be doing that quite well to be fair.

A weird total. You would have accepted that beforehand, but maybe not when they were something like 14-3 or 115-5. But the. You would have definitely accepted it at 215-7 and probably earlier than that as they crept closer to 200 with five wickets left.

Our opening 5-10 overs with the bat are crucial. Don't want to invite extra pressure by losing early wickets. The total is there to pass, and not as dangerous as a 240/250 score, but we could easily fluff it if we aren't careful.

Called it Jenuall. Jonny’s down.

Imagine Vince playing in the final. :dread:

Jonny will be fine. He would need to have something like ligament damage for the ECB to break up the J-Roy and YJB opening partnership.

Got a bit of extra time to rest now. Terrible review.

Agreed, can only assume he thought it pitched outside leg.

I might have a modicum of sympathy if this was any other side.

That was a strawberry floating dreadful decision. Big up Bairstow for wasting the review on one of the most plumb LBW shouts in history.

Root and Morgan keeping things moving along at a nice pace.

Question is whether giving them a thumping now is going to help or hinder us for the upcoming Ashes - could put a bit of fear in them or it could rile them right up...

Well this has been/is a lovely day of cricket! Shame Roy couldn't get to the 100 given the way he got 'out'

There’ll be a new World Cup winner this year!
