I was really surprised when the commentary said Zampa was getting pelters from the crowd for dropping Kohli. I'd almost forgotten that sport is a spectator event.

Have I missed the Australian commentary team who find it necessary to talk about anything other than the game itself? No. No I have not.

We're currently covering developments in Peaky Blinders and Nicole Kidman.

On the radio they're currently asking some fella to drop a beer off for his brother when he drives past his farm.

Best thing about the cricket commentary on SportsXtra is
the ABC news desperately trying to pronounce the Iranian nuclear scientist who was assassinated.

They had hope with KL Rahul and Hardik but as soon as Hardik went, so did any hope they had.

Not impressed with England not at least trying some of the other options available. I’m not convinced both Currans fit into the ‘best available team’ either.

Yes, you do.

If I was a man of faith I'd be praying that he keeps up this form until the end of the next T20 WC.

It's not that I thought he was gooseberry fool, just that I'd never thought of him as the first name on the team sheet.
