I'd put India a smidgen ahead, batting first. If they stretch it to 450 they're well ahead.

England did brilliantly in the final 2 days of the first test, but they also had an advantage of not batting last. I'd predict an Indian win from here.

Cracking effort from England to keep India under 400.

Crawley really earning that 'King of Bazball' moniker.

Edit: FFS, of course. My bad, boys.

Christ, Bumrah is a classy bowler. England will do well here to get anywhere close.

Root got himself out. Delivery is nowhere near the stumps or line or length.

Unless there is a monsoon then this game is done. I really don't see India losing again with a lead of over a hundred.

They'll lose tomorrow, but if they bizarrely somehow win, relying on stupefying comebacks from terrible positions to win matches isn't a longterm solution. They need to start playing better in the opening couple of days of matches.

Why oh why is Joe Root deviating from his natural game?

One of Pope, Root or YJB needed a score today for England to have any chance. When was the last time Bairstow got a decent score?

Williamson with twin tons.

Shame Root's batting average is going in the opposite direction.

FFS, guy has horrendous luck.
