What I would like to see happen is for Leach to replace Rashid in the team in home conditions. Rashid doesn’t tend to dismiss top-order batsmen (aside from Virat Kohli ) but Leach I feel can, just like Moeen does, plus he’s left-arm and it still allows Moeen to keep the “second spinner” tag.

Yes I think that works for me. Feel bad for Rashid who’s been messed around a bit, but his average has just crested 40.

I don't feel as if he's done anything wrong, but this match is the perfect example. He is the least effective of the spinners in conditions that should help him the most. There's just little point of including him.

I mean, OBVIOUSLY as I'm typing this he takes a wicket. Of course he does.

I'd strongly consider giving Jimmy the new ball from one end and have the ball dive in toward the stumps for a few overs.
