About to engage GR mockers in 5,4,3,2,1...

I reckon the Universe Boss is due a big score.

Could really do with a Saffers win today to take a little of the pressure off England.

Surely they must have one decent performance in them somewhere.

I’m less interested in SA v SL and more in JB v MV. Johnny’s having one of his ‘the world’s out to get me’ moments. That’s usually when he plays his best so I’m not too fussed, and Vaughan is a gubbins-talker at the best of times. Doesn’t say the greatest things about the England camp mindset though.

It's the first time in a long time where I've agreed with Michael Vaughan, England have only themselves to blame at this point as they've been wretched on a couple of occasions.

Anyway the game is about to start in about an hour when the Sri Lankan anthem has finished.

Incredible, isn't it?

Sri Lanka wouldn't be near the semis if they hadn't gained two points through rain IMO. I'd still back SA to win this game.

I’d still have backed England to win the game last week.

Today would be a really decent time for Afghanistan to get off the mark. :simper:

I would be OK with a Pakistan or New Zealand win if we failed... That said, C'MON AFGHANISTAN!!!

Aw no, they've got me hopeful now!

Also: hat trick in the final over for Trent Boult. Congratulations to him, he's got as many as Steven Finn.

Heck of a game between that 'stans.

I don't get why teams are folding to this bang average Aussie team.

Massive amount of pressure on Roy this morning I think. Bairstow also needs a score. Fingers crossed.
