Very kind from Hyperion - or should I say (whips off rubber mask) Trevor Bayliss!

Anyway Buttler’s buying himself a stay of execution. This is what he should have been doing every innings though.

He was absolutely no where near that   - why bother rock and rolling the slow-mo thirty times, if you're going to ignore the gap between bat and ball?

What is it with this strawberry floating team? One guy to get out and they drop him. Happened with Kohli several times last year!

Well in, Sammy Curran.

Genuinely want him in every test squad, this game has shown has important a left-arm swinger can be. He could be rotated around Anderson/Broad when they need resting to start with until Jimmy calls time.

Time for Denly to put in a single good innings and thereby preserve his place for the winter tours. :dread:

Sick to the back teeth of this trot Root is in. His average has dropped from 55 to 48 since he took the captaincy.

Yep, I'd say he's secured his spot on the winter tour now.

Smith out for 23. Anybody seen four horsemen doing their rounds lately?
