Come on!

Edit: Rashid for the final over was a mistake considering the wickets they had in hand.

Rashid bowling the final over last night seemed very odd, you could tell they were going to make it. But to be fair that seems to have been Morgan's only error as captain in the last few games, so can't blame him too much.

I thought it was a bit strange that he bowled Root for as long as he did.

Why is it sad that Essex will probably win?

Somerset have never won a FC competition. Essex have two of the buggers in the last three seasons. Support the underdog!

Yeah that was pretty incredible.

Whilst Essex have been awarded the Bob Willis trophy, the real story is Somerset opener Tom Lammonby. He was only selected to open because Somerset had several absences - now he's got three centuries in 11 innings having carried his bat in one of them. One to keep an eye on for next season.

Buttler's form has absolutely tanked since he arrived in the IPL.

I know it’s incredibly bad form to laugh at foreign names, but I briefly checked on Jonny bashing it to all parts to find him being bowled to by Arshdeep Singh.

A-hem.
