Saw a stat the other day that England have only gone past 400 once or twice recently. Not surprising when the top 3 contribute sfa. Couple of wickets here and we'll be lucky to make 325.
On the one hand, yay I suppose; bit late, but yay nonetheless. On the other hand, I can’t help but wonder if Buttler’s relative success yesterday slams the door on Foakes for a while. That would be wrong and bad.
Before this match I felt that if one of the three was to drop out, it should be Jonny. I feel that even more keenly now.

My two favourite England players are taking all of the wickets. This is the best day of cricket ever, only spoiled slightly (well, a fair bit (well, a lot)) by it being a dead rubber.
With Gabriel carrying a knock, Paul out for the match, Holder suspended... surely this lot can make some runs. There's only Roach and Joseph operating at 100%.
